At the tiger temple you are supposed to feed him, then follow him into the sahali kingdom (back where you first met him and he was drunk). You have to fight him and win first. Complete the sahali kingdom and you get the wind tamer. The Wind tamer will dispel his wind.
Best tip I heard for this game…saved me many times, let go of d-pad when dodging. Just press dodge and nothing else, game will place you in a safe spot 9/10 times.
Raging at the sage. The sage rage. The game is pretty easy when you max out the duplicates. You should breeze through all the bosses until the last few. Boost your mana too.

Try filling your focus gadge more until you have 3 dots filled in next to the gadge then use your heavy attacks. It will help you to deal more damage to the bosses.
the thing about this game and the main difference from the typical Souls games is that most of the time, you need to do what the devs want you to do. To beat a certain boss, you need to upgrade your armor, you need to level up and you need to obtain the special vessel, otherwise is basically impossible to beat it. It's annoying at first (I usually like to have the freedom to choose my playstyle), but then you get used to it. I finished the game last weekend. It's a good game with amazing graphics, but it's not at the same level as Sekiro.

This game is easy , atleast u dont have to worry about ur souls or anything to loose on death, its a challenging game , just read the fighting styles of bosses and ya u can beat them easily . Easier than souls game and not frustrating as them
Agree, a poor man's Sekiro at that. It's kinda man of all trades but master of none. still good like but... Fussy and finicky re boss strats. But it ain't no bothvar, sun of hothgar, son of throthgar 😊

Fireproof mantle. Actually you don't use fireproof mantle for this boss you use wind tamer obtained from beetle dude in the drunk boar's quest. Go figure.
@HalaMadrid15UCL I didn't say the mantle I said the summon. You don't use the dash attack three times then lose the summon, you build burn status then unleash the super smash.
lol your weapons aren’t weak you just keep doing a weak combo against every boss…let the 3 balls charge up on the right then heavy attack if you want to do big damage and stagger enemies on Bosses lol then you can follow up with more attacks…and use your cloud step to get out of tough jams
