@Dale-ei4sm First you have to get as close as you can to your higher being so your heart won't hurt as bad as you heal. 40 years is a long time so once you decide enough is enough, you will feel like a big chunk of you has died. I was only almost 4 years and the trauma bond had me wanting to join him by death. Next, you have to have a strong support system. I have a son to live for and my family and friends kept me from those thoughts of dying with him. I never would have left him but God would not let him continue to abuse my divine love for him. He died a very violent death of heart attack in someone else's arms. I (and God) saved him on last September from a similar episode but my husband did not take heed. This time God took him. What they dint tell you is they are capable of loving someone, they (narcissist) just don't know how to process that emotion because they are mentally incapable. You and I were/is holding on to the love but ask yourself...is it worth jeopardizing my mental and physical capacity? I was suffering from heart problems that I never told anyone about until he died. Now that heartache that I've had for a year now has started to subside. He was slowly killing me too. As a Christian, that was not my purpose. Sometimes God place these people in our lives to shape them to love and us too. God worked on me during the marriage and I was obedient. Him on the other hand, rejected me and the good Lord. May he rest in peace 🙏

I held on as long as I could trying to see if she could see what God showed me. We def triggered each other but I took what was triggered in this time apart and went to therapy, joined a men's christian anger MGMT support group and got back into the gym and going to church and listening to stuff like this and things that heal my soul. I told God when I surrendered her Father I want my wife. If it's not her then lead her to her husband and sever the soul ties. I asked to be blind to women's flattery and to only recognize the voice of my wife. It's been lonely and I probably cried every day since we separated.. not tears of pity but truly sad for the life she didn't think she deserved and tried to release me from giving her. Yesterday as I was cleaning I found the father's day card her daughter gave me and the letter her son wrote me for Christmas. That was probably the hardest emotional grief wave I've ever felt since my brother died. I wanted to reach out to her so badly but chose to tell God instead and say even though this has broken my heart completely I'm trusting you entirely Father. Idk what will come of any of this. All I know is whatever my future has in store I want God at the center and focus and I'm standing on that till my time here is done. Thank you so much for your blessings. ❤
