- The infamous Darien Gap between Colombia and Panama is the only land route from South America that leads north in the direction of the US. That's why hundreds of thousands of migrants make the dangerous crossing every year. The risks are enormous - many are robbed or sexually assaulted. The terrain is extremely dangerous.

In the US there only low paid jobs for people who don't speak English and no affordable housing, unless the government is paying for it - which I imagine they expect will happen. The streets are not paved in gold, they are paved with homeless people.
This nightmare has to stopp CLOSE THIS THEM BORDERS IMMEDIATELY
I worked with low paid Hispanic construction workers for 40 years. They know how to use the welfare system. They have lots of kids and many go on to buy homes.
@@William1866They all have the same plan.
@@William1866Thanks for your anecdote Boris, I'm sure that is reliable data and not scaremongering for the likes of Patricia.
@@asphaltpilgrim Thanks for your smirky reply. Care to throw another gutter ball, two-bit troll?
Do they really think it will be better in the US? They think they will have a job, food security and healthcare? Have they not seen whats going on in the US?
definitely plenty of jobs.
Soon they will be traveling back over the Darian Gap again 😂
Exactly 💯
It is not only Haitians and Central Americans, but also Cubans and Venezuelans who have a political, social and economic crisis that is happening there in those countries. But they do not emigrate to Chile or the United States, Brazil, Canada, Peru and Mexico; those countries have many problems migrating to countries such as Uruguay, Paraguay, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Belize, Suriname, Costa Rica and Panama.
@@wat4036no there's not,
So what’s the excuse to get asylum they don’t qualify
what’s the excuse to get asylum they don’t qualify? 🤔 ..... being a victim of economic problems doesn't qualify you for "asylum".
America needs Doctors, engineers, machinest and other skill laborers. Not more unskilled people.
Just teach them, what's the problem?
@@ddr3629Education is not free. Are you going to pay for their education?
@@chrxmouse2157 Perceived entitlement.
@@ddr3629the problem is that you cannot teach chronically jellyfish people with no brains, no English, which only have their limbs to offer, and that poison everything they touch...
Really? America has 8+ million unskilled jobs available that you yanks are willing to do so you have tonne of opportunities for low skilled workers tbh.
Most ended becoming homeless people in America
They are going to end up in neighborhoods just like the ones they left. Only we can be us.
Lots of social blighted neighborhoods in major American cities ,neighborhoods littered with abandoned homes trash strewn in fields, gang infested schools, settled by former immigrants, expensive rents in run down bRrios wait and see!
It can't be that risky if 6 million + have survived to cross the border to the USA the last three years...
Although it pains my heart to see little children suffer, I have to say this:
why don't they try to stay in their country and overthrow their piss poor governments that have brought them to the position that they are in?
I think in most cases it’s American intervention and sanctions that have created the crappy conditions in their countries :/
In the case of venezuela, you have to go and study prior to american intervention how they created a single monoculture type economy of relying on oil instead of expanding all industry. oil is cheaper than water there
@@star0shimmer13naw... Outside the west a lot of countries are in precarious situations, on virtually all continents. Nearly all of them. At some point you have to own up and stop the blame game. It's either colonialism or American interventionism, or western neoliberalism, whatever, but it's never them. That'll simply never work the west can't support 1 or 2 billion impoverished uneducated culturally alien nobodies and prop up their inept governments.
@@star0shimmer13could you possibly be more platitudinous? Any more insipid?
@@omniinvestments7128Venezuelans should fight for democracy instead of running away
What do they expect life to be for them when they arrive here? Can they really think they will be employed?
The governor of NY just announced 400 companies who are willing to hire the Venezuelans. There are 18 k jobs available and a special website has been created just for them. They get to skip the normal process. Now even more people will come. What is going on? The current leaders have lost their minds!
They are being lied to , there is no way enough jobs for millions and millions that are showing up.
My city literally pays people with computer skills to move here…. Hoping the recent influx fleeing Communism lands here. We need construction guys desperately too
It will stop.winter is comming to U.S.A
This is so weird, why risk all for, in the end, is the same problems they left, except violence from government.
Look at the mess left behind
You can also have a better life by not having childrens you cannot take care of. Make the math, is cheaper not having kids these days, especially if your country is IN CRISIS...WHY DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN?!
Look man, most problems stem from uneducated, precarious social classes. Crime, drugs, bad policy, even health issues (diabetes anyone? Here, have another coke)...
Dude those women literally all have kids at 15
It's really interesting how the women are overweight and well fed, yet the children look thin and hungry. Looks like they feed themselves FIRST, AND THEIR CHILDREN LAST. VERY SAD.

But they do not emigrate to Chile or the United States, Brazil, Canada, Peru and Mexico; those countries have many problems migrating to countries such as Uruguay, Paraguay, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Belize, Suriname, Costa Rica and Panama.
That's exactly what UN wanted
Agree!!
"We think migration is a right!" - Extremely privileged woman who would've had neither her education nor her freedom if unrestricted mass immigration keeps happening
Interesting how all these guys have mobile phones.
4:03 excellent, with them they will bring that poverty and insecurity and spread it wherever they settle. that insecurity mentioned also will come with them, enjoy that usa citizens. they will make it worse wherever they settle for the locals, but they do not care about them, just themselves.
If you show up with no skills, little to no education, what do you expect them to do with you? Get a student visa at least. Fix your own countries, you can only run from your problems for so long-and bringing problems with you for others to deal with is no solution. Also why the US? South America as a continent is huge; is there really nowhere else to go there? Central America as well. I don’t want to see children suffering, but what about the children who can’t run away? Fix the problem at the root. Make a better future for all children.
*IDEA* - they should just stay in the Gap and create their own lil village there!!! Theyll get along with the current residents, it'll be fine!! 👍
Haaahaahah good one.
It's such fakery, isn't it?
People from all over the world
Terrorist, criminals, killer's, rapist, cho-mos. . That's a lot of ppl coming USA joe be letting in

Ive been here in South America for years. We are constantly loosing young people leaving for the U.S. because there are few few jobs avaliable for them after High School. Its like all these Governments here have just utterly mismanaged their National ecomonies. Roughly between 2013 till now. Like by design. Just saying.
They government, the president in their country they should be ashamed of themselves how they are living, while they people are suffering they should fight, protest, fix their country, unfortunately everyone is running from their countries to come to United States hoping for a better so called better life, not knowing, understanding Americans have their struggles, issues too, this country is not perfect United States doesn’t have the power house that it once use to have, many of us are struggling, surviving, we have inflation, the cost of living is high, rent is high, our taxes is high the pay is low, now we are dealing with migrates, we as taxpayers are paying for they housing, healthcare, food, medicine transportation, etc. I personally think it would have be better to have president Biden to send food, medicine to these countries, immigration should of been done properly, not have open borders which is risky to cross, drugs coming through the borders into United States
MIGRATION IS NOT A RIGHT. DEVELOPED NATIONS ARE RUN BY LAWS AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE SOCIETY AND HOW IT WORKS TO KEEP IT SAFE. FIGHT FOR YOUR OWN COUNTRY LIKE THISE IN DEVELOPED SOCIETIES HAVE AND STILL DO!
i bet lots of people would pay to go on this adventure

Do they think the Watts part of LA is heaven ?
The politics of united states are changing quickly I hope he'll of mess be stopped just as quick as the speaker of house was
Sure. We need more unskilled labourers. That'd certainly be great for our economy!
Speaking from experience construction masonry plumbing apprentices are desperately needed here in Oklahoma and St Louis area
let them have smart phones so they know the reality of the US today. that'll solve this problem.
They already have smart phones and some are better than my phone! They are lied to by the traffickers who want their money.
Most if not all of them have top notch phones.
The entire population of South America are trying relocate to America! 😂😂 one day there will be no more humans in south and Central America!
It's just Venezuela, Ecuador, some from Colombia. The people in like Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Costa Rica , Panamá, etc are fine. We don't need to go to the USA to ask for freebies.
California is already no longer called Cali. It's SOUTH CENTRAL AMERICA INSTEAD USA

I think North America for now

Why there is no road or rail route through darien gap between South America & Panama? Besides, the travellers must wear proper clothes as bare parts of their bodies are exposed to mosquito bites etc thus causing them diseases.
These guys think the USA is like Disneyland 😂 there is nothing in here!! 😂
Well, the USA is definitely better than wherever they’re coming from.
After millions of people have traversed the Darien Gap, I don't think it's the big, bad boogeyman it once was. They probably have people handing out Gatorade like in a marathon. 🤣

If you're thinking of coming here, understand we are full and you will be sent back in 2025 when Biden is gone. No offense, nothing personal, but we can't take care of those already here.
Yep.
No entienden está gente está muy mal
compare that to the quick boat ride to Lampedusa which they describe just as risky.
Yeah I mean in the med plenty boats just vanish, and every now and then one got close enough that a few dozen bodies get swept up on the beaches...

i just dont get it. why not just fly yo the border or america.
Maybe the UN should stop sending them there.
Doesnt look to hard to me a good brisk trek does you good fresh air sun should be more of this thing ok
Go do it for fun and comment after lol
La ONU esta promoviendo esto.
Why not building a motorway, or high speed train over Darian Gap?
You can't just build transport infrastructure over swamps, rivers and Jungle territories just lile that. The logistics, massive financial and environmental cost. to this iconic biodiversity hotspot are not to be considered. Are you daft?
Heli Lift these poor soles into usa you can do it. From australia 😂
@@josephhenry9924Maybe only you can't, Brasil and China are able to build one.
Literally impossible to do that in hot places. Asphalt warps in jungles and its mountainous
What, and make it easier?
You come here to be homeless and to live on the streets, and winter is coming
They'll just blend in with the millions already here.
It's time to learn Spanish I guess 😊
Bienvenido a los Estados Unidos compadre! 💌
Coming to improve our neighborhoods.
Tranquilo
Rage in anger loud and clear
Die-versity the s our strength!
Good luck friends. Schools, accommodation and money is all waiting for free for everyone in America! Fill your pockets.
They're leaving Venezuela because Communism ROCKS!!
I think you mean crippling US sanctions?
they are criminals
machine guns placed along the Darien gap would help
Why don't you go man that machine gun there? Try shooting a couple of dozen people, then go check out your hard work. Look at the lifeless mutilated corpses of the children you hate so much. Thinking to yourself "these children deserved it, you did the right thing"
They'd find another route. The root cause is that there are tons of American companies willing to pay undocumented workers on the cheap to avoid paying standard wages, taxes and workers comp.
@@MattTee1975oh yeah that’s totally the reason, and not the free hand outs. No they’re desperate to get abused by those big bad evil American companies.
@@MattTee1975 that's not the root cause

People are migrating to the US and Europe because they’re poor, desperate, and unhappy; corrupt governments and economic inequality are the root of this migration. Billionaires and millionaires worldwide can do a lot to help them. 💕☮🌎🌌
