South Philly to North Philly on Septa | I use to take this bus when I was a Kid! (Side View Tour)

- When I was growing up in Philadelphia and wanted to visit the movies in South Philly, I would attend the United Artist theater on Columbus Boulevard. After the movie finished we would walk to the local bus stop. This is the bus ride I would take to get back home to North Philly!
Septa Bus Route 57 North Bound
I use to ride the C bus from 10th and Louden all the way down through center city to Broad and Pattison
Love this. I remember every month my dad would take me on the septa train and go from fern rock to the gallery. Used to love that. Sometimes we would take the express, sometimes we would take another one, I think it had a yellow/orange light. Simpler times
I almost always take the bus, much less stressful than driving.
One time I used my Septa transpass and my vacation time to ride all of the busses, trolley cars, elevated trains, and subways in Philadelphia. I would never do that again with my senior citizen Septa card because of Covid 19 restrictions and because of all of the crime. That must have been a half of a century ago that I did that.

When I was younger I would take the broad street line from city hall to broad and Erie good memories of Philadelphia stay safe toon215 and taking bus c also from South Philly to north Philly good times

You might be interested in filming a ride on the regional rail train. The best and most relaxing train ride ever, so it costs more ($6 a ride, i believe). Only problem is it would have to be a silent tour bc you can't make too much noise on this train. They don't allow it. Talking loud or doing anything noisey or ratchet will get you kicked off lol.
I used to ride the 23 from end to end with my Mother when young. Really enjoyed it.
I Used to take the septa to go to Robert Clemente when I was going to school there.

Wasn't there a C bus ran this route on Broad street? I'm old so we're talking the 70's and 80's. Bless you cause I rather eat razor blades then do this run. Everyday? You were a patient youngster. Thanks for taking us on your journey.
