I feel this on weirdly deep level, I can't put into words. I understand it's about drugs. But it could honestly be about most mental illnesses, but it resonates with OCD for me.
For me it relates to Mania - in my bipolar disorder
For me, with ocd too. Can't believe it
I've had most symptoms of bpd for years and been too afraid to find out if I really have it, so I've avoided getting checked out, but these symptoms have made me think I'm crazy and my past partners haven't understood these things and it makes me feel like a monster when I just want someone to stay.
I feel like the addiction is his obsession over a person and he will do anything or be or change anything for them
@@SkylarJean And i feel,his addiction,is ,let's say ,drugs,but exactly,this is the reason,he can't have a relationship with the one he loves.Nobody can handle addictions,unless,there are no interventions,or,simply ,medical treatments.And ,there are few people,who,really ,want to get better this way.It's a long journey,i suppose,but it worth it.Anyone's life ,worth it.
I know this song is about addiction, but my personal interpretation of certain lyrics is how who I am is not good enough. The line "If I need to rearrange my particles, I will for you" as well as the bridge hit really hard cause I really wish I could just change my DNA to be someone else. To be someone the person I love would love back. This song never fails to make me cry. God I fucking love this band.

Maybe it’s about a deep love and trust in another to be able to call you on your shit! And you trust them enough to address it ,however it presents!

Pure genius! I can’t remember playing a song this much since I was a teenager, it blows my mind, I’m obsessed, I hear it when I wake, when I lie down, when I walk, it’s taken me over, it’s amazing and it’s helping me get through one of the most dark times in my life (as are all their songs). His voice is pure and rich it envelops you in pure ecstasy. This band have become the only drug I need

From the moment I first heard this, it resonated so deeply with me. My personal interpretation is that I would just love to be the person everyone wants me to be-outgoing, not socially awkward or anxious, outspoken-but I simply can't. And no one will ever understand just how much it pains me to be so "different" because most people just think I choose to be like this when actually I have tried so hard to change multiple times and gotten nowhere.
