Noble artistry. This is an interesting version with midpoint variations that change mode quickly; I assume Accardo composed them as I've never heard them nor seen them before. The Chaconne has always seemed Romantic to me as you alluded to, but still with the strict ground bass of the baroque. My first exposure to this was a very lush and Romantic LP recording with organ accompaniment - Zino Francescatti. Thank you for presenting this. Your Hi-Fi talents are overwhelming. Have no idea what those Russian capacitors do, but they must be special. :)
