VANGO ICARUS AWNING SET UP 500 DALUX | ATTACHMENT (our first tent video was created in 2021)

This is a little tutorial I made on how to attach the awning to our old Vango 500 deluxe tent. Make sure you tighten the straps so there is not much gap between the tent and the awning.

Did you have 2 grey straps about 6 ft long with slef locking clips with your awning? I've no idea where to connect them

Do you mean the ones that clip on to the main tent ??

@djdazwillott4291 no. I've connected the two on top, and clipped in the clips. Poles are up and pegged. I've got two approx 6ft long grey straps with spring lock clips. Previous owner has one connected on the black hoops where you attach poles. I assume I'm supposed to connect them to their opposite clip but they're not long enough...

Could they be the lines guides for the front door so you can have the door open? Have they got a ring in them? If so, it allows your door to be polled, so you can have it as a canopy style. Hope that helps

And could they be the ones that run under the ground sheet? You should have a grey plastic ground sheet that lyes flat to the ground, I think the ones you are talking about, they should go underneath that grey ground sheet?
