He is basically stuck. He believes trump is guilty, but he also realises that the lawyer for trump just dumped on the defense. Worst case for us that need justice in this case
His point was Cohen is a liar and motivated to seek retribution against Trump. Nothing new, the jury already knows he lied. The defense has don’t exactly zero to challenge the documents and other witnesses. When the jury deliberates they will be looking for that evidence and so far they’ve got zero. This case isn’t dependent on Cohen.

He said he swore under oath that he was talking to trump about bookkeeping hiding on the intent. The defense showed via phone call logs, that he was talking to trump about another topic. He lied. And its proving that he calculated and backed the lie up with false data.
Now the court has to investigate if the Prosecution knew about the lying testimony which would indicate that the prosecutors (lawyers) rigged the witness and committed "suborned perjury." "Suborned perjury" is a big deal and judges, lawyers, and officers get disbarred and go to prison for it. Democrats used to do this song and dance (with black people back in the day; they'd rig the trial with a phony (usually white woman prostitute) witness). Those types of (soulless) witnesses can be coerced, bought, and blackmailed to lie. This routine goes back far in the history books; using thieves and women who'll do anything for cash as false witnesses.
You would have had study law to kind of see and know about the dark side of politicians and the court system; or be a minority that is under the foot of these types of schemes. With my experience (law and engineering), I'm pretty sure that some donor+CIA has some dirt on Biden, and they're forcing Biden to do all these crony deals and the barrages of phony charges. I've seen this type of stuff before during the Obama campaign and people quietly went to jail for loan theft. I will just say this: Cohen took and received a HUGE number of phone calls in his job. He says he spoke to Trump about Stormy, and I don't doubt that he did. But asking him to pinpoint precisely WHICH phone call was the one he had the discussion with Trump? After EIGHT YEARS? Let's see how good ANYONE'S memory would be on that point. At WORST, I see this as calling into question his precise recollection of very specific event timings, but I don't think it casts doubt on the CONTENT of his recollections.
It does cast doubt he testified that that specific call was about Stormy and it wasn't. Liar lost all credibility.
Even then it is completely normal and naturally for a conversation about one thing to turn to another and 90 seconds is more then enough time to say he took care of it.

The bad news is that there is no court tomorrow (Friday), and the defense plans to CONTINUE cross of Cohen on Monday. Then of course will be re-direct, then perhaps re-cross, all on Monday. Just as an experiment, Anderson, next time you're in studio on your show, wait one and a half minutes in total silence, just looking at the camera and let the audience imagine how much of a conversation they could have about two topics.
