  • A favourite Roman funerary monument of Titus flaminius son of Titus, his moment was found at Wroxeter and dates to the 1st Century AD when the 14th legion had their base here #RIB292

It's like the Roman letters found at Vindolanda in Britain, the mother claiming her son hadn't written to her and she'd "heard Britain was cold and that she was sending him spare socks and underpants"! It shows humans and the minutiae of their lives.

Here, once again, we see firm evidence of a connection. When we get past culture and language we see that people are ... people. I see this here on RUclips watching an English guy named Jack talk in Mandarin to Chinese "guys and gals" ... when you read the subtitles that guys and gals becomes real .. as they become real .. not just a girl speaking Chinese and therefore a bit alien. We have the same thing here. I get the connection .. the "why" of this video. Myself - served in the military as long as Titus .. and toss him a salute.
