Awesome work! The 30-day acceptance test on the R160B's was from September/October 2006 and then the R160A's from October/November 2006. The first day of this was September 11th, 2006. The day fater, I ended up waiting about 45 minutes at 34th Street-Penn Station. The late night transfer at 168th Street isn't a late night transfer. It is used by Inwood-bound (A)'s. Another thing I should note, it didn't run overnights. The last trip from 207th Street terminated at Lefferts Boulevard, dropped out, and ran light to Pitkin Yard. All other trips from 207th Street terminated at Mott Avenue-Far Rockaway.
"This Is a Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue", "Washington Heights-168th Street", "Ozone Park-Lefferts Blvd" and "Aqueduct-North Conduit" so good to hear that again, now if they left that alone. The announcements would be sound better than the crap they got on the A now
I know you weren't referring to those but I was just referring to the minor things that I don't like about the current (A) program but I do agree that the shortened announcements are trash and it would sound much better and more informative if it announced the full name of each shortened station

Did the original 2006 Announcements For the A program have a Rockaway Park Announcement? I would love to hear the original A announcements to Rockaway Park before it was updated I have heard the A to Ozone Park announcements from 2006
did the A train test the r160a 5-car sets or 4 car-sets? cause if it was the 5-car sets then ik in 2007 the 4-car sets were testing and in service on the L,J,Z line at the same time.
Only about 1 year off by the time they arrived on property in 2005. The L had the 9 recorded in a transfer at 6 av in Catherine's voice. I'll post that in a compilation video I'm working on sometime later

@@morganlimes Nope. The Siemen's R160's didn't go into service till about the Summer of 2007.

I would guess to shorten the dwell times, but nah. The full name does the job the best.

No other line does that minus the E via the F to World Trade Center and via the to C Washington Heights-168th Street

This is how it was originally in 2005/ 2006. A couple years later they updated to say Brooklyn bound in Manhattan and queens bound in brooklyn.
