I took the passings of John and Penny very hard John's especially, his loss to me was just like losing a family member! I grew up watching them when I was a kid I got used to them, they are always two of my favorites
You can (probably did) watch Stanley Laurel’s funeral on RUclips. Gotta tell ya’. I was deeply moved by it. I was born in April 1965 so it’s almost been 58 years since that sad and sobering day.
Coming from England this is a fantastic grave site our tour guide showed us most of these fantastic graves. Our main objective was to see the great Stan Laurel which we did and paid our respect to him. We also went to see his comedy partner Oliver Hardy in another cemetery a bit like this one.
There is a RUclips video of Stan Laurel’s funeral that mostly show all the Hollywood super stars of that era coming to pay their respects. It was 1965 so obviously most of them are long gone now too. But it’s very touching to see all who came that day. Stanley Laurel was a truly unique and much loved man.

Unsure what I think about the video myself. A cemetery for the famous. Would never visit a cemetery myself unless I was attending a funeral. Should I be on vacation I would much rather join a tour of the walk of fame or seeing where the famous people live today. Seeing where they've been laid to rest is a little gothic for my liking.
