Its not about the rest of summer league its about the draft picks and g league players. Bronny is not part of the 90% and to be honest that makes your case of him developing worst. I’ve never seen more use of the what aboutism argument. This is about no one else but a guy who never shined bright in high school, and should still be in college but instead has guaranteed multi year money on an NBA roster. Just doesn’t make sense however you spin it, it’s malpractice. The jury isn’t still out because it was never out in the first place.

His season high in college was 15 points. The kid can catch lightning. Bronny basketball career since high school is perfectly summarized as a 2nrounder getting 1st rounder treatment. He was an average 3 star player but became an all American. He average 4points highest season point was 15 but was given 7mill gurantee contract and 1st round press. All the benefits of a 1st rounder but all the excuses of a 2nd rounder.

Bronny might actually be better offensively. He’s poor offensively and defensively tbh. Yes, Bronny can get lucky and grab a couple steals occasionally when one of his teammates plays help defense on the perimeter. But Bronny can’t stop anyone when they are driving/cutting to the basket. He’s not strong or fast. Wildly inconsistent three point shooter. Can only score off of handoff plays driving to the basket. He cannot take anyone one on one to the basket or catch and shoot at a good rate. Not an outstanding playmaker or hustle player. What can he do? And I’m a lakers fan and wish the best for the kid but this is crazy.
It's only unfair when the criticism is not in Bronny's favor. The media talked about him everyday leading up to the draft and did not mention the other drafties. But when is negative coverage its unfair? People are judging what they see.

Bronny was on the 26th nationally ranked team. He was the 3rd option. There a good chance he wasn’t even a top 100 player if we’re being real. Higher ranked teams had better players miss out on All-American selections
His senior year his team wasn't ranked 26th, it was much lower, it finished 19-11 or something like that.

I've watched BJ. He is horrible. He has nothing special. But, hid attitude screams, I don't give a damn about basketball. He's also tiny on the court. No team in the NBA is in line to offer you anything of value for him.
The problem is that Bronny never proved or show any flashes of being good enough to be an nba player instead he got based off his last name not his talent. Most NBA players dominate in HS or College before NBA I’ve been watching Bronny since 8th grade he never dominated any level of basketball. For an example Carmelo Son is balling scoring 40 during the summer. Bronny never did nothing close to that when he was that age. This is an example of how the NBA is watered down. They need to stop comparing him to other players that struggled in Summer Players but did good in the league the difference is those players proved they belong in the league either in HS or College and Bronny never dominated on no type of level. So we need to stop he not good enough and stop talking about him.
Exactly. Last year's 55th pick was also the ACC Player of the year dropping 16.2 ppg and taking his team to the NCAA finals four. That same player was dropping 22 ppg in highschool and was also the league MVP.

The only thing they got was a certificate mentioning they were considered for the McDonald's All American. I myself at least made all district, (ended up playing D1 in the mid major OVC) That's why I know that it's unprecedented for a McDonald's All American not to be all state, let alone not being first team in the lowest tier be that being "district" or "all league"

You can’t teach effort. Lou Dort is a competitor, Gary Payton ll is a competitor. Bronny doesn’t compete on that level. And when you’re his size and you lack effort, you usually don’t make the league. Doesn’t have elite handle, not an above average shooter. His athleticism is above average but not crazy. And he’s not a standout passer. He’s not a pro.

Doug’s not wrong. I saw him play several times in HS and didn’t think he was great…just average. By virtue of resume, he shouldn’t have been a McD AA. That was driven by his dad’s influence.
As for his transition to L, he’ll struggle to translate bc he has no identity. He’s not a PG nor a 3nD. It’s going to take him awhile to find footing and I’m not sure he will b4 his verdict is out. Feelings and compulsions change quickly in the L. His saving grace will likely be a combo of his Dad’s potential ownership and Rich Paul’s agency influence.
All in though, he’ll never develop into the player he could have been. He’ll settle into an identity instead of crafting one and bringing it with him into the L.
