- WOW it's already been 6 years??? Since I uploaded ERROR???
Ritsu came out with a new voicebank a bit ago, and I thought it would be a good chance to re-do this old cover of mine. The older version didn't age too well and there were tons of lyrics errors, (..haha) so I wanted to try and do this cover again, 2018 style! My tuning has changed a lot over the years, and by making this I realized that there's always room to improve :)

It's personal taste and both versions are amazing but I like the old one better, I like when she sounds bit more buzzy and firm instead of more humanly and warm if that makes sense.

When I first saw the original cover of this song, I was a depressed teenager that dropped out of school and had pretty bad life choices made. I was ready to jump off a building somewhere and end things. I related to this song so much and it encapsulated everything I felt at that time. I was lonely, alone, and struggling to sort out how I feel. Then life got better slowly. I listened less and less to this song as I immersed myself in a lot of things and that loneliness was now a thing of the past. YT just randomly recommend me this out of nowhere and all I can say that it has been a long time. Now I'm getting married in a few months and have a child incoming in 3. I have a wonderful job and an absolutely amazing fiance. Idk whats the point of me commenting all this. I guess I can finally say that I'm no longer the error that I felt I was. Thank you for being a part of the toughest moments in my life kyaami.

@@Bapao76 They're such different voice banks, but I think this one sounds so much nicer and emotional. The original is more mechanical, and some notes fall flat in it.

Years ago, when I first heard this song, my Mom had just died. My Father was courting another woman, 3 months after my Mom's death and I was failing every part of my life. I was suicidal and angry, a wreck. I listened to this song almost daily back then. I just wanted to shout at the world. But now, I found closure from my Mom's death and is now using the testimony I have to save others who are going through the same pain as me. I was able to forgive my father as well and is enjoying a life where he's one of my best friends. It's crazy how God changed my life, how He saved me. I happen to find this again and can't help but reminisce. I literally thought my life was over. Now, my error is a message. :)

The little puffs of breath when he releases powerful notes, the smooth pitch bending, the vibrato, this is INCREDIBLE. I never thought I’d get back into utau/vocaloid in 2019 but I’m definitely back in now

It's strange but I swear this song is me, because I feel like I'm wrong. I love that I'm different, even the fact that I'm Autistic but it makes it hard for me to even stand next to someone or even speak to them and tell them how I feel and what I want and need. It's hard being different, it's hard having difficulty with speech and communication. Because at times I can barely get my point across or explain how I feel at times. And it hasn't helped when I was depressed and when I have those moments of overwhelming melancholy, stress, anxiety, fear and some emotions I can't describe. This song honestly made me cry because of all that, it's says something I always can't. I'm glad I found this

This remake was actually sublime, I've not heard anything this good in long enough that my eyes began to water.
I genuinely empathized with Ritsu as he sang, the raw emotion you put into your covers is nothing short of incredible, in fact I'd go as far as to say you're the very best at tuning Ritsu out there, and I mean it. I am in love with how much of a "voice" you give him so to speak; your tuning work sublime and beyond, especially with my personal favourite cover of yours Jitter Doll.
I know you don't take requests of any sort, but I know I'd love to see a remake of it! Just putting it out there.

i know ritsu is a "joke" character but utauloid was always there for me when i was a suicidal depressed and confused teen and now i'm a little less depressed and realized that i'm trans and very very gay...and just hearing how far Ritsu's voicebank has come since what 2009 i've decided that Rits is also trans and living her best life...reclaimation is good for the soul. But also WOW the emotion in this song, the power in the vocals its just great. I'm amazed at how much more real some Utauloid's than Vocaloid sometimes.
I mean, Ritsu being a joke character doesn't stop anyone from having fun with him (as long they aren't deluded assholes about their headcanons) and it also has no bearing on the quality of the actual voice bank. At the end of the day UTAU is a musical instrument, used in music production, so yes, naturally it can move and inspire us like nothing else. I couldn't even begin to explain how important the concept of 'Hatsune Miku' (that is, everything she represents, what creators and listeners made of her since the VOCALOID scene's true birth in Niconico) is to me. But I know anyone who creates understands. It really is a spiritual experience.

K I'm legit crying because nostalgia, like not only for the Ritsu cover being 6 years ago and me adoring that, but also the fact Ritsu used to sound so cutesy and high pitched and now he sounds more mature and I'm like crying because my boi has grown and it feels like yesterday I just found out who Ritsu was and that Ritsu covered Error ;-; Kyaami, you never cease to amaze me and you're one of my favorite Vocaloid/Utau users ever and I hope you continue 😄

the first time i heard the original cover i was just a kid. i'm so sad that in such an young age i related to things like that, and even sadder because even almost a decade after, i still do. i used to cry so hard at the part "even so, my tears hurts, have they reached you?", i always felt like a burden, that my feelings didn't matter. i still do, but i just can't take that a child was left feeling this.
