To be honest... Not really. He may have nicer intentions than expected / a sad backstory but even after seeing everything I'd still say he basically trapped her in servitude hell for 9 years. She overworked, couldn't even get a boyfriend, had to always smile at his nonesense and had to look perfect to match his looks. That's mentally taxing and takes over your life, he doesn't even respect her type of work that much, just expects it to be there. Good on her for trying to get out after she doesn't need the money anymore. I only started gaining empathy for this guy after he made some changes to be more considerate.
L5940 I assume you haven’t read the webtoon if that’s what you think she thinks of him. Because in one of the chapters/episodes she mentions how she never once felt bad working for him (something similar to this, but not exactly). You should read the webtoon, it’s great!
I read the webtoon and loved the story and grew extremely fond of the characters, about how both developed each other and reflected that influence and companionship in tiny details, it's an awesome story and after finishing it I discovered there was a drama!!! I'm looking forward to watch this ❤️, I'm so happy 😃.
