I am new to CAD but progressing. I am trying to build a wing with twist in it so it ends with the tip at a lower angle than the root. Can you offer suggestions. Thanks
I am not sure though i bet it works by making two different sketches, one for the root and one more for the tip. you generate the airfoil how you want it to be on both of the sketches and use the tool called "loft" to connect the two. In your case, maybe generate a high angle airfoil on the sketch on the root, and a lower angles airfoil on the tip. I hope it works for you
@@user-sx1rg5fp6q Thanks for replying. I had airfoil templates for the airplane I was trying to model, F106. The templates were for the root to the tip. I used the offset plains for each station and traced them as they were. I then use the loft tool. The wing formed with the twist at the tip I was looking for.
Thank you for your work but ... First thing, please slow down to half or a quarter as fast as you were going. You aren't the first one to make this mistake, in fact, most early content creators race through their video. Please remember, a user needs to ponder a point of interest you just made but at your speed, many are lost as soon as they see something they haven't seen before. Second, it is also very common to shake the cursor back and forth to make a strong point but it is painfully distracting from what you are trying to teach. Third, if you intend viewers who are not familiar with your language, find a way to include explanatory text to replace your vocal explanation. If you are using a good editing tool, you can translate the explanatory text to several languages you hope your audience will understand on separate tracks. Hope this helps. You obviously have some very interesting information that I would have loved to understand but I gave up about two minutes in. Sorry.
