He stoped loving her today is an amazing song, hearing you mention it with reverence solidified my belief that you are a clever fellow. Then you sing your song and it’s brilliant so, yeah double points on this one! Damn man, you are killing me with your music! I am at the same time so happy to have discovered it and also mortified that I did not find it years ago! I plan to purchase a big collection today, seriously I am a musician myself and am adamant about supporting other artist. I know how challenging it can be to keep producing music, but please keep doing what you do. It is really wonderful.
Not being an American, a lot of your stuff loses weight being so topical but, Man, seeing you have SO much fun with this stuff? 10 points, Keep up the great work! Thanks for the smiles from Australia!
Faux-stalgia. Never heard it before, but I understand the concept perfectly. "Living the simple life" is hard as hell. Anyone who thinks otherwise should try growing their own food for a year.
Most of Europe did just that for centuries.. And we're doing everything we can not to have to do it again! Subsistence farming/serfdom was HARD! It's so much better to work together :)
Totally agree about older country music being generally better than lots of current country music. It's not all jingoistic, but a whole lot of it is this really crap overproduced, generic pop pseudo-country. Also, there are WAY too many songs about parties, trucks, Christian values and girls they like who aren't particularly interesting.
+WildWonkyWizard WOW... U-Must be trolling for conflict... Because your read on me is so fucking far from the mark it's fucking Hilarious... Good*Luck with what is to*be ;)-
Chevrolet isn't French though. It's a _French language name_ from a man of French ancestry, but he never lived in France for an extended period of time. He was born in Switzerland and moved to the U.S. where he founded the Chevrolet Motor Car Company. He then bought GMC, itself an American company, in a reverse merger, and Chevy is now technically the Chevrolet Division of General Motors Company. There is really nothing French about it, it just sounds French like "Corvette." It was founded in America by Americans and is still owned by Americans living in America, is incorporated and headquartered in America, is a division of another American-owned-and-operated company GMC, and makes and sells more of its cars in America than in any other single country.
Having been raised on County music this is a brilliant song, not that I don’t already know and love your work!

"Son of my mom and Uncle Sam". Says it all, right there.
Brilliant!
Love your enthusiasm. And watching you attack your guitar. Keep up the great work.

I friggin' love you!
✧ Just replaced "friggin'" with "blessed" and we have a new hit for the Sharp Family. Once their mama gets her brood back from CPS, I mean.
Another fuckin' Zimmerman timeless classic.
I am Western
But thanks for the Country song anyway.
I wish they'd play this when I get my hair cut, instead of the jingoistic sing-a-long I'm usually subjected to.
This is like a pre-response to Jason Aldean.
Haha that's what I thought!
I didn't catch what bridge Roy mentioned here. Did anyone get that?
Tallahactchie bridge
+James Albright It was, as omahatmbgfan said, the Tallahatchie Bridge ... from an old, country-rock ballad, "Ode to Billie Joe".
1 old, home-schooled horse.

Ah yes, good ol' Christian values like parties, trucks, and drunken hookups.
Thank god for the Troubadours, Jason Isbell, Dan Tyminski...
"Mayberry Syndrome" The last incoherent gasp of a dying age, which the future will mostly ignore....

Okay, next do 90's pop-punk. :)
All horses should be home schooled. Just sayin.
French ... or Korean

" It's a French language name "
and that's exactly what he was referring to.
but thanks for explaining something that actually didn't need explaining.
