come to think of it i spent seven years designing porn magazines, not only did i earn loads of money, it was "character" building, my girlfriend at the time was at uni (university college london, reading psychology) but all out friends were feminist or activists of one kind or another, and i never had any conflicts over my "career" with anyone, it was when i went to art schools too, so that was a really productive part of my life, i was living with a psychologist, i went voluntarily into therapy myself, it was an experiential time. it was a fun job, i had great work colleagues, it was a great time of my life.

So its clear the theist doesn't want free will for the people. Just his type of people. He denies Tom's hypothesis but is happy with an invisible sky daddy sending anyone that doesn't worship him to hell. Then pretends to hold the logical high ground. Whilst worshipping a dead animal above his fireplace. Also, why does he keep saying tom said something he didn't say by changing around the words tom used. Is that just another lying theists.

Under TJumps logic it would be MORE moral to cannibalize multiple people at the same time if all parties consent. Heavens Gate wasn't a tragedy, it was actually a moral good that all those people deleted themselves in effort to connect to Haley's Comet.

      they consented , didn't they ?
and IF they had HAD SOME EDUCATION BEFOREHAND ,
THIS WOULDN'T NEED TO HAVE HAPPENED IN THE GOD DAMNED FIRST PLACE ,
it's reasons LIKE this , that people LIKE Tjump and every other channel ... ARE TRYING TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ,
so they DO NOT HAVE TO ... die for a lie that some schmuck made up in HIS head , just Like every Other religion
we KNOW it's all a LIE OUR BRAIN TELLS US , we've got 10.000+ of those non-truths in our heads ,
gods and religions are THE WORST ONE OF ALL , we kind of called it the FRIST ERROR in philosophy ... for a reason , you know ...
CONSENT and PRECEDENT are the most dirty words we ever invented , apparently
99% of the world doesn't seem to know these words even exist ...
consenting adults can do what they like ,
but when you have a BASIS FOR LIFE that tells you you'll be Just Fine ... when you k*ll yourself or get k*lled ,
there's not much anybody can do , is there ?

This take seems to miss what many theists do. The whole tricking people into thinking things that aren’t true part. Making someone who wants to know what’s true believe something that is not is an involuntary imposition on their will.

    • @Kyle-qf5zc
      @Kyle-qf5zc 8 месяцев назад

1:35:00 He says its perfectly fine 1:35:50 he agrees there is nothing deficient for it to be a moral act. 1:37:20 it would have been more moral to help more people accomplish their wills
I can extend his logic to say finding multiple victims who consent at the same time would be MORE moral, in the same way finding multiple hungry people to feed (not via sex cannibalism) is MORE moral than just feeding 1 hungry person.
I'm not sure how familiar you are with the Heaven's Gate cult, but they documented their consent to group suicide as much as the sex cannibalism case, and they believed with all their heart (to the point of committing suicide) that their hypothesis would one day be confirmed through predictable evidence that there are aliens behind Haley's Comet blah blah blah raising to the next level of existence and all that other wacky stuff they were doing. Loved the sneakers though.
TJump has, as he admitted several times, zero evidence to prove his moral naturalism, but believes (by faith perhaps?) that one day evidence will be found that confirms his hypothesis. How can he claim it is true then? If he cannot claim it is true, would it not be immoral for TJump to assert his unproven claims and "making someone who wants to know what's true believe something that is not" as an involuntary imposition on their will?

    • @leo--4341

vulnerable people being pressured by a cult figure with perceived authority, would render their consent invalid

    • @Kyle-qf5zc
      @Kyle-qf5zc 2 месяца назад

@@leo--4341 and someone who is severely mentally ill or has some other condition to the point of wanting to be cannablized after their own murder, I would argue, cannot give their full consent to that action as well. Nonetheless, TJump himself states it is a moral act to cannibalize someone if that would help the person in question accomplish their will.
      Do you disagree with TJump?

  • @muveemanone2067

2:55 i love how he quotes what you said, then he rewords it so he can argue with what he's just reworded, instead of not being able to argue with what you actually said. they all do that.
22:00 he's still rewording everything you say so he can argue with what he said and not what you said.
39:00 for someone who appears to do this a lot, he's really, really, really slow on the up-take.
50:00 i think he'd be a lot happier just talking to a mirror.
57:00 now this is the thing about religists, they really don't like it when god isn't responsible for the good stuff. i find it next to impossible to imagine a quantum field of some kind, permeating my brain and making it lean towards morality, but, i wouldn't dismiss the idea, cos something is making us moral, 5 million years ago we were behaving morally without even language. but the god squad hate "god didn't do it".
1:00:00 yes, people find ways to be unhappy and hurt each other, but if you have what you need, then you don't need to steal or hurt people to get what you need, cos, you have it. america has mass shootings cos people have plenty of guns. make guns harmless (don't let people have them) mass shooting stop right there (we did this in the UK after dunblane). i love how he's sitting in his chair inside his house, probably with a full fridge, not being able to comprehend that the reason HE isn't stealing is that he has everything he needs. these people are so slow.
1:09:00 and now he's describing why god is a waste of time, god has a moral code already, and we have a war going on in ukraine, god makes zero difference to morality, code or no code.
if there is no suffering, i don't need to "build character to deal with suffering", this is like saying i need a glu glu protection, when glu glu doesn't exist. i don't need to "build character" in a moral world.
well, to be fair, i have devoted a lot of my life to porn, video games and wings, but also i have lots of music on my channel, i'm a sculptor occasionally, i've had an art exhibition about schizophrenia, cos i've been a carer for schizophrenia for some time, i've been to five art schools, i've won awards for my computer graphics, for calligraphy - i even find time to be a dad, a boyfriend, a neighbour - so it is possible to lead "a wasted life" and still do stuff. oh, and i've been to lots of places, including hiroshima. and the US.
1:24:00 yes, i agree, it is "better" to be the courageous, kind, thoughtful person. the point is YOU DON'T GET TO TELL ME. i do it voluntarily. i consent.
he's forgetting, we don't need doctors.
all he is saying is that it feels "icky" to him (it does to me) but that doesn't change anything (actually cutting a bit off and cooking it, then eating might be fun?) anyway, all he is saying is "i don't like it" cos he has no more grounding than anyone else in the matter. and he didn't answer the question, they never do "what is immoral about that?"
and suddenly free will isn't an issue, he seems to have forgotten all the important bad things are down to god wanting us TO DO WHATEVER WE WANT, he is arguing AGAINST his own position here.

@@thenero9493 I live in the uk, where 3% of the population are practicing Christians. So yes, I can confirm, atheists do more. Plus here, the government provides housing for the homeless, free health care and the stuff it should provide. Instead of having its population begging for food in the streets. Like we see in nearly all major cities in America. We also prefer not to let religious fanatics adopt children.
