You make me laugh when you apologize for the video being long. Newsflash: we subscribe and watch because we love watching your process. And if we don’t have enough time to watch it all at the same time, we’ve got the pause button. Just keep doing YOU!
I think the trail map was ingenious on the first spread!!! Kudos to you. I often find myself watching your videos when I’m doing other things because your voice is so relaxing. 😌
I really love your creativity on the hiker spread! Please don’t apologize for long videos! I love them, and anyone who doesn’t can fast forward! Win win.
I LOVE long videos! If the videos are too short I feel like you don’t put your planning creativity into them. And a long video means you’re taking your time and making it awesome!!!!
Mary Ellen, if you heat something under your page, prisma blends really smooth. Like, if you put a heating pad down and then a hard surface on it (like glass) that will transfer the heat and you color on it, it makes it really smooth and blends great. Also, a gray eraser, you know the ones that you can pull apart like silly putty, can erase prisma color. Just FYI for the future!
@@PlanningwithBumble no problem, I learned it in an art class because they had a flat hot plate we would use to color in Prisma when we wanted it really smooth. You just had to be careful it didn't get too hot.
I love both spreads as they are totally different and kind of fun. I live the hiking spread either shoes and the Germany one is fun and true to the country.
Wow. The creativity with the sunset and the trails completely sold it. Never feel bad for taking too long on a spread. I know people give you mixed signals about that but you are right, many of us love seeing the process as it goes from "Oh crap", to "Love-love-love"! By the way, I never said "oh crap" with the sunset. It was so original it didn't even matter that it was funky in the beginning. Sometimes we like funky too. Job well done!
They both turned our amazing! I wish that happy planner made stickers to coordinate with outdoor activities like hiking. And specific travel stickers too!
Im glad you left the date area blank on the hiking spread. She can use colored pen to put it in and it’ll be so cute. You might want to get a blending pen for your prismacolors when using the HP paper. It blends smoother - it’s kind of like a brush pen.
Love both spreads, very beautiful and creative. I feel like when you post these types of videos I get inspiration and I feel like I am planning along with you.
Mary Ellen we are our own worst critics. Love both spreads. Going out of our comfort zone is really scary but also very rewarding. I had no idea about the heat to smooth out the Prismas either and will be trying that soon.
So I’m listening to your video… you are talking about blending.. and I’m doing things as I’m listening and all of a sudden you say DONT PANIC… I hurry and look at it and bust out laughing because you crack me up so much. I enjoy all your videos. This hiking video was beautiful. Even if I did slightly panic… you did amazing and you are a rockstar ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You’re amazing. Your pattern spreads are my favorite, and I think that your point about the challenge being informative is why these are so appealing to everyone! Thank you for sharing your process!
I have a lot of German heritage and I'm obsessed with the German spread!! So adorable! Thanks for giving me some inspiration for when Oktoberfest comes next month.
Ok, so this is really showing my age, back in the dark ages (70's) my high school art teacher taught us to use blending stumps. I think they work the best and still use them to this day! I have Mr. B to thank for teaching us that!!
@@PlanningwithBumble You can find them at the craft stores in with the find art supplies, most likely with the drawing pencils. There are two kinds and lots of different sizes. They are also called Tortillon. Most of the ones I have purchased lately are Studio 71 brand. Hope this helps!!
Wow, both spreads turned out so good. When you said dont panic everyone (on the sunset spread), I was having heart pulpatations but it turned out super cute. I also love the Germany spread, I would like to copy that but do an Ireland theme! Wonderful spreads!!!!!
Really LOVE the Germany 🇩🇪 spread. I dont have the paint pens but im going to try the same method in my boxes with my highlighters. You always give me such good ideas 💡.
They are both really good spreads but I love the hiking spread the most. I'm glad you switched to all black boxes. It really pulled everything together. 💛🧡💖
I love both of these spreads!! I had a problem trying to find clip art for New Mexico for last month’s challenge. I had to give up because I wasn’t going to pay for it. I use gamsol to blend my colored pencils. Haven’t tried it on planner paper yet but maybe that needs to happen for next week! It blends beautifully on cardstock.
This plan with me is so inspirational, I got so many ideas to use in my planner! 💫 Keep rising to be who you want to be! 💫 #keeprising #risingtobe #aswerise #riser
I love them both but especially the Germany spread! I’m an Army brat, went to an American high school in Germany and when you started singing 🎶Ice Ice baby🎶, I laughed out loud, totally brought me back to high school! Love love it! 😂🥰
very german, to be precise: bavarian. This is the south area of Germany 🇩🇪, close to the Swiss and Alps. The rest of Germany has other prominent things. Greetings from Germanys milldle part (where we have the Rhine River and lots of old castles on the hills besides the river ) 🇩🇪 BTW: Have you herad about the beautiful „Loreley“. She was sitting on a high rock in a curve of the Rhine and combing her very long blond hair. Many boats crashed while sailors looked up to her. I live very close to that rock 😮😂
I love the one from Germany! Where did you find the cute graphics? Since your daughter and her hubby will be moving to Germany, you may have one of these spreads for yourself. Germany is beautiful! 🇩🇪
I'm new to this planner thing. i tried ordering stickers on the website. I'm a little on the smaller budget side of things but I was soooo disappointed to see that all the prices are in USD and it only lets you know once you start checking out. And I'm not mentioning here the shipping fees. Wow Ido not have a 100$ budget to buy planner stuff so I can save on the shipping. Sorry but I won't be giving more money to this company and use dollar store stickers. I will make it work. Love your videos
I'm also on a limited budget. I find most of my stickers on sale and then occasionally I'll splurge on bigger sets or books. You can also use clippings from magazines in the way of scrapbooking. Like sometimes there're really cool images in advertisements and magazine spreads. Planner products sadly *can be* very expensive, but you just need to think outside the box. Happy you found the Planner community👍🏽❤️ Some things can be overwhelming but give it time and do what you find interesting.💎 Not all products are for everyone.
Koinoor woodless are much nicer than prismacolor and about $15 a set. Carandache is very very nice but expensive. , Just don’t drop any woodless pencils on a hard floor. Prismacolor was good before 1990.
That tier is currently full but I always give my current patrons a heads up when I know there is a spot opening, so the best chance of getting in is to become a patron :)

My thoughts exactly 👍🏽
Sometimes I binge multiple planner videos back to back
... Then sometimes I watch a little bit and return later.
Well said I totally know what you mean ❤️❤️❤️💕
Absolutely!
I love how you think outside of the box and use different mediums, I really like it and will try it out myself x

I LOVE long videos! If the videos are too short I feel like you don’t put your planning creativity into them. And a long video means you’re taking your time and making it awesome!!!!
I think the hiker one is great. It's like she is standing there saying I love my life and all the boxes are parts of her lufe
Oh HOLYWOW WOW!!! THE one with the sunset!!! So beautiful! Germany spread is ao cute and fun... I love it too!!!

I didn’t know that! Thanks for the tip!

Great tip. Can't wait to try this next time the pencils are out.
I love both spreads as they are totally different and kind of fun. I live the hiking spread either shoes and the Germany one is fun and true to the country.
Good on you for taking the risk of colouring the sunset!
I liked em both...they came out cute...but then again u never disappoint...

I am obsessed with your spreads and creativity ! Binge watching and loving them all ❤
The "paths" on the hiking spread makes me think of the routes that Billy from Family Circus takes. Love them both!
Both are cool and unique. I LOVE the sunset spread though.
Sis, I absolutely LOVE the first spread. You are so creative it’s crazy! Great job Mary Ellen. ♥️
Love them both, but I am very partial to Germany so I love that one best. I lived there 4 years, and would give anything to be able to go back!
I think you did awesome. Love both. I can't decide
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the hiking/sunset spread. So creative and pretty!! ❤️
Thank you so much!!
Both spreads are so beautiful and creative! You are amazing and inspiring!
I think the sunset spread is really cool. I love it
You definitely kicked butt on these two spreads and I like both of them!! You’re AMAZING and made for this!! ❤️
Im glad you left the date area blank on the hiking spread. She can use colored pen to put it in and it’ll be so cute.

Mary Ellen gets two very hard challenges. Nails them both 👊🏻
They both turned out great and very unique
I love that you take up the challenge and you work around it and turns out great!!
Love both spreads, very beautiful and creative. I feel like when you post these types of videos I get inspiration and I feel like I am planning along with you.
I questioned both in the beginning but I love them both!
Great job ME! So creative! I love it!🫶🏼 I forgot there was another coming up. They are both great. The sunset is very inspiring to me.

Love the German spread! So cute with the clipart :)
Really LOVE the Germany 🇩🇪 spread. I dont have the paint pens but im going to try the same method in my boxes with my highlighters. You always give me such good ideas 💡.
I was thinking the same thing. Any marker would probably work.
They are both really good spreads but I love the hiking spread the most. I'm glad you switched to all black boxes. It really pulled everything together. 💛🧡💖
As a hiker this is darling! You have a wonderful imagination!!

Omg. I love the hiking spread. So different. ❤️❤️
I really like the hiking spread 🥰
I was singing with you. I used to love Vanilla Ice. And when you went help help, my brain went: Help I need somebody Help, not just anybody.....
Love both spreads Mary Ellen. They look great!!! 💕
mabye revisit this sunset hike with the artega real brush pens? this spread turned out so cool. its super creative and outside the box.
Both spreads look amazing! Always amazed by your endless creativity 🖤🖤🖤
I like both. But the doodle-look is so cute! 🧊🧊👶
I love how they both turned out
Super cute!

I like them both. But I like the German one the best
Really like both of them, too!
The sunset is cute but I prefer the Germany one.
Gosh! Just love these!! 💙💙💙

Like that one too great one
They're both super cute! Where did you get the Germany clip art? I'm half German, but have never done a Germany spread. I'm inspired!
I got it from a paid stock photo website with a free trial. I forget which one though
Very nice like that one
I love the one from Germany! Where did you find the cute graphics? Since your daughter and her hubby will be moving to Germany, you may have one of these spreads for yourself. Germany is beautiful! 🇩🇪
Just from a paid stock photo site. I forget which. I got a free trial
Very cute and I love that they are different than the usual!!! 💕Only 1 question... where are the Dachshunds on Ewa's spread? 😂
You make me laugh so hard. Now that song is in my head tho lol
Which song was it 😅
Lighter fluid will blend prismacolor. Not sure what it does to the paper, so test.

How do you sign up to be a BFF?
That tier is currently full but I always give my current patrons a heads up when I know there is a spot opening, so the best chance of getting in is to become a patron :)
You don't need to put flowers on every one. The vintage 95 is the coolest one you've done. This idea was cool till the flowers.
I like the flowers 🤷🏼♀️
Also this video is 3 years old. I do plenty of spreads without flowers
