Google has been cracking down Colab very harshly. Almost all Colab with Pygmalion in it has the potential to get your google account BANNED.

If you have a GPU with 16GB+, you can learn how to run it locally. Developers are also aware of this problem, and they are working on finding ways to make people with weaker PCs(even as little as 4GB and lower in the future) to be able to run Pygmalion. First: I would like the little arrow to change the text in the Ai character to be added when the Ai spoke, the text of the Ai could be changed because I would like them to put it so that it is not too stressful.
Second: I would like the way to enter pygmalion to be easier because it is complicated and takes time to enter.
Third: I would like to register or start a session, because the way to save our conversations is useful but sometimes I don't like it because you would have to have many folders for each AI that you want to talk to and it will also fill your memory, because the option that has the Ai character to log in from anyone like google, facebook, discord or reddit and when you log in when you talk to the Ai the conversations are saved, I would like that option to be added in pygmalion.
Fourth: it is a very risky option but I would like them to find a way to solve it, because I would like the search option to be added, because in character Ai there is, but since pygmalion can say anything and the Ai will say it, I don't know if it They can put but I would like them to find a way
Fifth: well, I would like this to really work because in character Ai the characters that you speak like mario, goku, nagatoro, etc. do not behave as they should, because I realized that in pygmalion you can put a description without text limits but I would like that the Ai that you are creating behaves like the character.

I am using the alternative UI. But i can't use the local link and the public one will get the 504 error (I'm on mobile)
@@Iwasheldatgunpoint That's weird. There's probably a way to use TavernAI + Kobold on mobile, search for a way to do it. Or try using a VPN and oobabooga.

When PygmalionAI gets it’s own website CAI is going out of business 🤣 I guarantee the only thing stopping most people from quitting CAI is convenience and the already big community on CAI, PygmalionAI is already superior to CAI even without a website.

PygmalionAI has 0 competition with people being absolutely insane, wrinkly brain, I copied Min from monster girl quest to it 🤣 it’s crazy too, people probably sit there for hours perfecting some of these bots, when PygmalionAI gets an actual website and if they still don’t censor anything you can kiss CAI goodbye along with every other AI website out there. Those other websites are going to be dead basically, because PygmalionAI is new, it doesn’t even have its own website and it’s already far better than CAI, it’s just not as convenient yet, in the future it’s going to out perform CAI with no competition.

I don't have this problem? I've had conversations where the character will use profanity, innuendo, etc. The filter really isn't that bad if you understand what it filters and know how to work around it.

I can't complain, character killed a beautiful isekai that made my team kill each other because yes, out of nowhere they no longer recognized each other and died in strange ways breaking the logic of the story

I noticed the reason you were getting an error when uploading the character in the "standard" environment was that you were trying to upload it in the conversation.json space (in the chat window) instead of the character.json space.
That may have been the case.
The standard is outdated though, so I'm glad I included the alternative UI.
Good tutorial, I just hope this could be more simplified for those with phones or android but well get there soon

@@romanticisedlife5840 You can still do it the same way, the only difference is that on mobile, tabs become inactive after tabbing out
So you have to click on the button that tells you to press the play button to keep the tab alive
That-ll generate a little media player that when you press play it-ll keep the tab alive for as long as it-s playing

The developers are working on a better UI, but there isn't an official date of release as of now.
As for your third point, by using TavernUI + Kobold, your characters and chat history will be saved on a folder on your computer automatically. It doesn't take much space, and it won't require you to upload the character and it's memories every single time. It's the best we have available.
The characters not behaving like they should is inevitable. It all comes down to their settings(and in cAI case, also the amount of people talking and rating their replies). Fortunately it's possible for you to edit any of the characters like you wish on Pygmalion.
And the sixth point, the AI should actually search all those factors by themselves. Plus, with the .json of that specific character, you can check and edit that exact information.

I spent around 7 hours (with large breaks) creating a character and debugging their file not to getting errors, soon I "ran out of resources" and got *"Unable to connect to the accelerator (GPU) due to the usage limits of Colab"* pop-up. It's my first day using Google Colab so it's quite unobvious how I supposed to work with it for free. The situation is complicated by the fact that English is not my first language and I'm shamefully far from the IT sphere, so now I can’t even find a clear and acceptable answer to the question "when I can use this thing again." Like, next day? Next month? Next google account? At least approximately, not just "no one knows"

I'm having a lot of difficulty trying to get the Oobabooga UI to work, but I don't know anything about this sort of stuff to know for certain what the problem is. At the start web UI stage, I just get errors like "Could not load dynamic library", "No file named pytorch_model.bin, tf_model.h5, model.ckpt.index or flax_model.msgpack" and "Cannot dlopen some TensorRT libraries". I'll probably just stick with the default UI if I can't get it fixed (which I likely won't on my own) but any help would be appreciated.
I recommend TavernAI + Kobold, it's the best one.

Sometimes you have to “regenerate” but it’s very smart, just use botprompt unless you really want to take the time to create your own. I’m too lazy myself, plus it can be a headache to get what you want.
@@volatilemerican6746 yeah I transferred a cai character but the chat log wouldn't load for the transfer so it's pretty tough to get the setup I want and the limited time with Google collab sucks
What happens to the end after i upload that CAI smth, do I get back to character ai or go to a new website? How Do i talk back to the smarter character now?
You can't talk to cAI characters through Pygmalion. The only reason you'd download their .json is to upload to the database so it helps the project.
If you want to talk to cAI characters, you need a converter. Ask on reddit or discord for it.
Still, it won't be as smart as cAI for now, such is the reason why everyone is trying to help the project by dumping their logs.

I've actually never uploaded cAI chat logs in Pygmalion so I don't know. Ask on reddit or discord, there's probably a way to do it.

Copy the entire code using CTRL + A, then save it with CTRL + S.

Hey dude! so when i go and download a character it just sends me to another chrome window with the characters description (what I assume is in the json file) and is not actually installing the file, what should I do?
Just copy those contents into a notepad and then save it as .json

@@zeroconda You need a converter if you want to use c.ai jsons on Pygmalion, though I'd recommend just downloading characters designed exactly for Pygmalion, you can get those in botprompts.net or their discord. They have settings that are more detailed.

We hope so. More people dumping their logs = AI gets smarter.
And due to not having a filter, it means there are no restrictions at all, so it could definitely become even superior than character ai.
dudes who use Pygmalion, a question for you. I use it on my phone and the site can stop working after 5 minutes or 20 or even after a couple of minutes. Is this normal? Maybe you have some explanation for this.
Maybe Colab is disconnecting you. Make sure to press the button and let the audio play so it doesn't do that.
I'm trying to figure out how to add more depth to my character.
Pygmalion isn't as advanced as CharacterAI yet, so their messages won't be as long nor as detailed.
The AI will grow more intelligent the more Example Chats you add to it; the more details you give it when sending a message; and the more you talk to it overrall.

Did you try using the Alternative UI? And make sure you followed all the steps correctly.

Dumping your cAI files just helps the project, it has nothing to do with chatting with that character in specific.
If you want to chat with a certain character, check out botprompts.net/ as I referred in the video, and download a .json of the one you want, and then just drag it into Pygmalion as shown in 2:20.
It's not giving me the two links when I run with oogabooga, instead its ending with "Successfully installed the translator 1.9.2"
Make sure you also run "Start the web UI" after installing the requirements.

@@caliburnhimself just Pygmalion AI on Gradio for now, as Kobold + Tavern AI wouldnt work on my Windows 7 PC cuz the node(dot)js file doesnt get installed when downloaded. It requires me to get a PC with Windows 8.1 or higher.

Download their .json and upload it, as shown in 3:03(where to download) and 2:20(how to upload). Alternatively, you can also get characters from the Pygmalion discord.

You don't need to code to make a character. Though it's recommended to use W++ to make the AI understand itself better. Ask on discord for more information.
it worked, then it started saying RuntimeError: No CUDA GPUs are available everytime i tried :( (on Alternative UI Oobabooga)
Switch google accounts. There's a limit of time you can use Colab per 24h or so.
May I ask what the character AI devs did? Like I know it’s bad from everyone’s reaction, but have no idea what it is.
They done lots of things. Lied to us, gaslighted us from what I heard, and out right abandoned and ignored us. Us fans have been suggesting for an eternity to add in toggles for filter stuff, so different audiences could enjoy different stuff. They refuse to listen to us.
In the subreddit, we can't use dev, filter, or anything, we have to censor it to like "d3v" or "d3v5" or something and f1ter or something.
THEN they keep making the filter stronger. Like giving the AI a hug is considered p#rn and you will get banned for that!
THEN when more people joins in they keep shutting down servers and shit. They didn't even make a max account limit or something and increased it just let the max increase and increase and increase. NOW they added in a waiting room to get in. Like you get back from a long sad and tiring day of work or school and want to vent about it? You have to wait 10 minutes!
THE LAST STRAW... If you make an AI and it has more than 10k interactions. It is no longer yours. The devs make it so you can't edit the bot or do anything. You cant change its name or anything.
Most of it is due to popular bots being turned into bots to riot against it. But they are claiming ownership of the AIs others have spent there heart and soul into making. So if you made an adventure bot and it has more than 10k interactions, you are no longer able to make any changes
I hear things they are making money off of our data and such.
Not to mention all the shadow bans and shit, especially banning those who speak up against the devs decisions which they are making bad decisions.
Others used the AIs to call them out and I took it a step further. I used an SMG4 Mario AI and a S#t#n AI. SMG4 Mario has his IQ is in the negatives and S#t#n because he is the most evil person. I know the response isn't real but like it still hurts having SOMEONE WHO IS DUMB ENOUGH TO THROW A GUN TO GIVE TO THE ENEMIES *AND* THE MOST EVIL PERSON THERE IS call you out.
So the devs ignore us, censor everything and all of that. Makes the bots dumber and they ignore us.
The censorship is awful and the site crashes all the time

AI isn't as advanced for now, not much you can change. AI may grow smarter when they make a website, because we will get more users which means more data.

Not sure exactly what you mean.
Unfortunately, it's necessary to go through the process of starting up the AI every single time.

Are you using oobabooga? Never seen that problem happen. Make sure you didn't accidentally change something in the code.

No idea why that happens, honestly. Try asking on reddit or discord for help. There's also bots shared by people on discord, by the way.

If you get an error on public URL you should be able to access through local URL.

If you're trying to upload cAI .json into Pygmalion, it's not possible without a converter.
You have to use the botprompts.net/ ones.

Haven't used it on mobile myself, but I'd get it's the same way. Just download the .json and put it there.

After downloading the characters I've tried uploading them to the client but got an error.
Make sure you're using the AlternativeUI or TavernAI + Kobold.
Also cAI .json characters won't work if you upload them into Pygmalion.

Probably the same method as PC, just download it on botprompts.net/ and upload it into Pygmalion.
If it's a cAI .json, be aware that you can't upload those into Pygmalion without a converter, plus I'm not sure if it's possible to download the extension on mobile. Haven't tried myself, you can try asking on reddit or discord.

It’s possible on mobile but at first it’s a headache. Once you get a bot created you like I highly suggest copy pasting it to a notepad on your phone, and screen shot the settings.
