Man, thank you so much for this video. i was not sure what apator size i need for buying hydrolic brakes for my 10X 48v (which does not come with Hydrolic brakes), and this video clarified it for me. thank you !!!
I have stock rotors 140mm and they already hitting the rocks and all stuff, so having 160mm it will be even more pain. Basically you will not be able to drive off-road
Hey @Zaire MG! This was my own weekend todo-list (including uploading a video of it) and now I don't have to and I thank you for it! :D Nice Work! Drive safe!
how are you enjoying the rotors man? do they squeak or anything? my 11x squeaks SO bad man... not sure if the squeak is coming from the pads or the rotors.
Loving them! No noise at all! Great stopping power modulation. I would start wiping the rotors down with alcohol and drying with microfiber. A few times. If it persists change BOTH. Probably contamination on both
Yeah I have brought the floating rotors and having the clearance problem from the rivets How did you manage to get the clearance from the rivets hitting Or should I just buy rotors without rivets Many thanks
@@gmajor8288 did you also adjust the spacers on the axle? Not saying that's your problem but it's something to look at. Play with them and see if that helps.
F180/r160 Is for both wheels ? Front and back ? Love your video ! I want to install this rotor www.amazon.com/dp/B008ZTLJEY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_yk9UFb390BJA0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 What do you think ?
Yes, for both wheels. And thank you! That rotor should work. It's going to take more time adjusting because of the rivets that hold the two pieces of rotor together. But it's do-able.
Nice job. I'm in old bridge NJ with my zero 10x. I noticed you're in josey.lol

Your very welcome! Hope everything turns out well for you. Be safe out there
@@zaire.mg. thank you. im new to all this but been watching plenty of videos on safety.

While bigger rotors will improve braking, it comes at a greater risk of bent and damaged rotors.

Great stuff. When I try making videos like this I end up finding a stripped bolt that can't be undone, end up sitting there looking silly.
Hey bro that setup is no longer available can you post an alt link with the same post mounts?
Have you have any issues with the 160mm disk? A lot of people saying they are to big, but want to really now what your experience is.
Great video! Are the calliper brackets the same size for front and rear? Thanks!
The adapter bracket link is for 180mm rotor, will it work for front and back?
What adapter was used as the original? Please type. I have a 160mm disc but I would need an adapter both in the front and in the back.
Nice vid, love to see 10x modding they are a sick scooter. I got the apollo pro and I want to do so much.
Thank you! Go for it bro... The modding makes it personal.
Why would you change the size of the brake rotor on the 10X just asking ?

What kind of disc brake adapter can I put on it?
Great video man....
Damnnnnn 160s fit on that!! 🔥
Hey bro great video keep these videos coming....... how did it go with the floating rotta did it fit without any problems
Many thanks
Thanks man!
The floating rotor was a little more difficult than the standard painted one. The rivets on the rotor require more clearence.
Yeah I have brought the floating rotors and having the clearance problem from the rivets

@@gmajor8288 did you get the ones I linked in description? Also it's a constant battle of adjusting unfortunately.
@@zaire.mg. yeah bro i did get the one on the link
I'll keep at it I guess until it works

🔥
what about the front wheel, same size rotor, same adapter mount?
Yes, use the same rotor size and adapter that I linked in the description.
What size is the factory rotor ? 140mm or 120mm
140
F180/r160

Front and back ?
Love your video !
