from some testing on my end, you can snapshot ancient flame 2h 100% attack speed buff on sorc swap in 2h version before hitting enemy - it'll stay up as long as you keep the buff up by hitting enemies, stack has like 5s duration. you do _not_ need to keep it on some gear piece unlike "of elements" / accelerating, if you do AND lose stack it will reproc new stack into weaker version off that gear piece 100% AS is full AS cap on as cap1 (gloves / ravenous vamp power / paragon / ahvarion) so you can fully ignore anything in that bracket if willing to do that (in practice drop ravenous for some other power and ignore AS on gloves / get other stat) accelerating and prime unstable currents are in separate 100% bracket though but you likely dont want accelerating from known info (you're already at 125% AS with unstable currents up, bl base is 2.2 and cap 5.05) problem is condition is kill enemies or hit boss, killing just won't be happening much in higher tier aoz if pushing limits and no bosses, so... gravitational and control seems to not be abusable, i guess technically it is just snapshotting into specific bl instances oribiting around elementalist's (not of elements) seems to also not be abusable

I heard on my Discord that people were doing something like this with Mage Lords (Sorcerer), this aspect is supposed to only work if you have Vyrs Mastery key passive but they were somehow able to swap to a different key passive and Mage Lords would still work. I tried testing this with my sorcerer but on console I cannot find anything even showing that Mage Lords is active even when correctly specced into Vyrs. Can you test this one?
so the lower roll that you keep on yourself after snapshotting could be the min roll and it doesnt matter right? its only the 2x or 1.5x aspect that you ideally would want high rolled, is that correct or am i missing something? just want to make sure before spending 2 max rolls of the same aspect where i could have only spent 1 xD
I've seen people saying you can snapshot Andariel at the start of a dungeon to provide poison damage for tal rasha sorc ring. How exactly do you do that?

Wouldn't it then be theoretically possible to do all your offensive aspects and one defensive this way. You would just need one perfect roll on each bow, strip yourself naked, and then apply one at a time. At least, for the aspects that work.
What is the point of taking advantage of a broken exploit , When they patch it and they will , all that extra power and damage goes right down the drain because those higher numbers will revert back to default

Being able to push further than what normally could be done. Most players wouldn't be able to know if they are legit runs or using exploits, unless you are pretty good detective. even then might be difficult to notice. If this doesn't get fixed before next season; I think what's going to need to happen is have players start off completely ungeared, hit record, and then see them put on the gear b4 the key starts. Because lets say they disabled gear and talent swap when you entered AoZ. It still doesn't fix the problem, as you can do this outside of the instance and go inside it. Perhaps put in a rule about no gear swapping or something like I suggested above, for these leaderboards. (but i guess its too late for that now). Jokingly: "soon leaderboards are gonna require players to have to screen record your desktop from the launcher, show the game being launched, no gear equipped, empty inventory, and see you equip your gear. Heck even better u are only allowed to participate in designated participant stations with a proctor, and not at home!"
I swear at one pt i was seeing xfals or andariels visage proc when i wasnt wearing them, i wanna say it happened when i used victimize passive or i "snapshotted" them either one
I have seen this as well. Also it was making my gravitational as malfunction. Sometimes grav sometimes static sometimes move forward. Yes someone needs to test for this.

Yes, or 2 hand weapons and that would be good if we could find some more stuff that it works for. So far the only aspects that work are elements and accelerating.
Does the bonus keep carrying if you equip a 2H weapon and then a ring, then remove the 2H and equip a 1hand with the same aspect and then remove the ring? (So you could juggle a 2H bonus to a 1H?)

Oh yes, this makes more sense than in video 1. The thing was that zoning in/out of an area would trigger a check on your character and refresh/update it, however that doesn't mean it actually had anything to do with zoning in/out. It's just a snapshotting behavior. Man, this so needs fixed. This will lead to such degenerate gameplay. Imagine if every time you zone into a new place, "Hang on boys, before we go slay the demons, let me play musical chairs with my Aspects in my inventory / on my character, so I can attain max power." Problem is... I think this is just a fundamental side-effect of the design of the game. Not sure what tech wizardry the devs could pull off to correct this issue. Then again, I'm not a dev, hah.
barrier aspects (storm swell/conceited) not abusable. you can look at damage/vulnerable damage stats changing in char sheet, they lose 2h bonus when you swap

Keep testing any druids out there? Would really like to know if blurred beast works haven’t found a perfect roll yet to test.
I did some test I found that ghostwalker snapshotting worked and gravitational, snowguard, vyr's mastery did not snapshot.
Updating Druid - blurred beast did not work but Shepards did which is nice.
Does this work in Nightmare dungeons? Or helltides or Legion events?
btw save your hight roll ones on 2h, on the 1h/right/glove u can use codex aspect.

it works but only for the DR on mage lord and not the damage after you switch out of the vyr's passive for something else.
@@zmollon damage on vyr's passive never worked, it's bugged.
you lose less damage taken from close enemies from it when you unspec it.

That is correct. Could use a min roll from the codex on the piece you are keeping on yourself. Just the 2hander needs to be a high roll.

If you can snapshot the effects of a unique item, then the game is totally broken. Someone needs to test this.

You can just equip the 2h and then the 1h, then take off the 2h. No need for the ring unless I am misunderstanding your question.

Im pretty sure this works for any aspect as long as you keep at least one aspect equipped and dont zone/get into safe area. Great vid btw ! ❤
