The stars also had to face some of the better power plays in these playoffs in comparison to the other teams but they had good penalty kill in the reg season.
yeah i mean the avs power play is kind of insane and they shut them down in multiple games (while letting them thrive in the earlier ones). some of that was just unfortunate stuff, like in the vegas series it was otter getting screened by hertl for a stone tip in (happened twice), or in the avs series there was johnston’s stick breaking immediately on a faceoff so makar just drove it to the net and scored or there was the game 6 rantanen goal where otter just kind of let him go top shelf. ive been pretty critical of the stars pk all year honestly, they always felt worse than their record, but i actually think they’ve been better than their percentage shows in the playoffs. i do not think the oilers power play will help their case though lol.
It's a shame he feels hated at venues. I like our local guys, but also appreciate the shake-up from national games.
I hope these boys don’t hop on the oil wagon after Dallas is gone. Dudes disrespecting bouch way too much. After this series they’ll be talking about how he took a big step lol
