But sometimes it’s because the pyros are just really dumb and are actively hindering their team and not listening to any advice, like the one in the video, which I can understand trying to kick
A pyro rant, and an early mvm part Oh boy, its gonna be one of those day isnt it? (It was one of those day) Okay group fall guys noise is FEELS VERY GOOD

Pyro player here. These types of Pyros are exactly why most players leave on spot when someone picks Pyro. If anyone wants to play Pyro in MVM, upgrade your survivability first, and be sure your medic overheals you as much as possible. No point in upgrading to loads of fire damage if you cant live long enough to do it.
Health on Kill and damage and take a spot where robots cant see you right away and burn em to pieces. no good getting resistances if you're the weakest damage dealer (only heavy can get away with that).
I haven't watched the full video yet, but I hope you didn't turn into a tacobot at the end. As a player with an avrage amount of MvM tours (170 tours), I always try to talk to Pyros respectfully, and explain why pyro early is not good, and how it makes it harder for the medic, because medics will always need to revive the pyro. If the pyro doesn't corporate, and still dies a lot, I won't heal him as often as a medic, because, I will be busy ubering demo all game, and going back to base to buy crits about 10 times each wave. If the pyro is actually making the game harder for everyone to the point that we lose waves, only then would vote to kick him, but I still won't be toxic to him. I usually explain what is happening to the other players using my mic, and most of the times, players trust me because they see that i have 170+ tours (even though it is a low tour amount. I have seen people with 1000+ tours), then i call the vote, and say "sorry pyro. Good luck on your other games. We are having difficulties in this tour, because you die a lot. Add me if you want me to teach you the basics, or at least how not to die as pyro"
Seeing the pyro play like a moron but still be high on score because of Gas Passer is the reason why people hate the weapon. Cause they'll use it as an excuse to say "but im doing better than ya'll". Hate that.
I got a way to out damage a heavy but yeah some pyros give you a little more pain than other classes The problem with my "out damage heavy" strategy it mostly works with giants because you do 300dps but it takes 3s to start(demo/soldier/engineer)can kill them faster than you its good(when it works)but when it doesn't I just change class cuz I will never use the gas passer until we need it
I've barely played mvm and I'm trying to learn now but considering I'm not even that great at the regular game I'm not too confident in my abilities. It also doesn't help that my shitty internet has constant lag spikes that drives my ping to over 900 and if I'm in foreign servers over 2400.
Sometimes, I switch to Pyro when the situation calls for it Scenarios like the first few minutes of the video are why I stopped doing so, in fear of being yelled at even though the situation allows for it. And that lead to my eventual quitting of MvM
@@vdubden10 It really gets tiring though, like I clearly know what I'm doing but nope using Pyro for any circumstance is a big no no Even in casual, playing Pyro is a mockery and a shame. Like, what's the point of TF2 when you can't even play the class you like in any game mode that isn't custom?
Honestly, I play pyro in MvM and I at least try to stay professional. I try to douse medics with gas and groups of robots too. I use phlog as it’s free crits and I try to survive! I try to play pyro properly. The only reason why tho? I like to watch robots burn.
So I’ve never played MvM before (aside from in casual ayooo) - do you really have to pay for every matchup like I think it does or am I missing something? Also would a vaccinator medic be good in it? Curious.
1. In Mann up, you need to pay for tickets. They'll be used after you finish one mission, and get the items. Leaving servers or playing the same mission you've finished won't harm the ticket, nor give you loots. 2. Good when your team goes down quick so the quick revive option is needed, cause Vacc uber can almost instantly revive a teammate with a single charge. But if the situation is like "Just reviving people won't handle this, we need more firepower", kritz is better. And, most of the case, you need more firepower. Not bad, but situational.
So Explain: 1:05 Look at where the stickies were placed vs. where the medic bots landed. NOT ALL OF THEM ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE TRAP. You can clearly see them on the edge outside the radius. So they survive. Also, Passer isn't bugged, those medic bots never landed in the Gas Passer either. 1:20 Yea, he died. Pyro was around 80 health when you switch of to heal an overhealed soldier in the back sitting around a dispenser. He was fire but was overhealed and close to the dispenser. Frankly, you also had a couple of secs to come in and attempt to revive the Pyro. You had shield to at least protect against the huntsman 2:09 - You could blame the Pyro, but your Demo was also kinda late. But nonetheless yea sure. Also, the Scout, Soldier, and Engineer didn't seem to complain as much as you and your newly founded Demo friend. 3:33 - As you both berate the Pyro, The Scout(Mokdoi) states to your new Demo friend who up their own butt: "Actually your work is all meaningless" 3:42 - So the Demo isn't that toxic after telling another player to not participate in the co-op gamemode? Sure. But oh he not kicking the Pyro so it ain't that bad. Right? 3:57 - Pyro say their goodbyes, stating you guys were toxic. You and your new Demo. (you were) You start screaming at the top of your lungs about it. 4:02 - The Solider (Lord Drakken) confirms that you guys were toxic, but you disregard his point ask him to switch to Heavy. 4:15 - You are raging over another potential pyro that happens to have 4 tours...Before they even got in. (and never even played) 4:26 - In better words: Now you are done raging and foaming at the teeth. 4:37- META. Other teams' setup can do without Meta. It just takes learning and getting used to stuff especially when working with different players. 11:10 - Lol, after watching the first 5 mins of this video... "I don't know why, some people just think I'm the villain, just because I'm high tour." No, it has nothing to do with the high number of tours you have... but it might be your attitude toward others especially low tour players when they don't conform to your ways and that stick that's probably up your arse making you one.

@@carolthepyro899 its the best weapon for mvm. Plus you cant expect a demo to always be able to blow things up with big sticky bomb groups. What if youre on your own and the demo is somewhere else? Gas passer takes part of the load off. Plus, stickies are better used for killing the medics anyways
@@Issengan then pop the medics early, or 1 shot them with a 3 tick damage soda popper as scout, or get close and 1 shot them with a beggar's soldier, airblast the med away. It's risky but far more satisfying to land than GP, and will likely catch the attention of your team in a positive light.
i have 6 tours in mvm and i know a lot of things for a low tour specially the basic when i do something wrong and the others tell me i don't go calling them toxic i ask what i did wrong and ask for advice even though in those 6 tours i got called out just one time for shooting uber medics, but it wasn't me that shoot the uber medics but instead another player, they thought that it was me but i told them that it wasn't me before going to my first tour in mvm i played a lot of ghost town so i learned a lot of things in this mode even thought it is so different than normal mvm i don't have to much money to play mann up and boot camp there is a lot of people who don't know the basics so its hard to learn more things i wish to know how to become a better scout, medic, and engi i already know how to play heavy and soldier, but other classes i played in ghost town where it has more money than regular mvm so i don't know about what upgrades should i do in certain waves engi and medic i know where to position and where to put my stuff.actually in normal mvm im not bad at medic but i don't upgrade my resistances, and i hadn't really too much problem with this i think that the tour with most death as a medic i had 8 death in a 7 wave mission idk if this is that bad or not
Pyro is the only class im good at... not much to work with but draguns fury, gas passer and 3rd degree/powerjack (against medbots/ after death movement when the scout, heavy and medic dont do their job. Heavy supresses, scout slows and collects money, medic heals and shields while boosting heavy with kritz or the frontliner with uber/quickfix and pyro tries to deal heavy damage in the front and keep the bots at bay) Demo can trap and help that way but if the pipes dont hit (which i mostly see and occurs) he is basically useless after wavebeginn
Quick story i was new to the game and tried out MvM and i was a f2p (and i still am) So i picked pyro and thought "hey if i upgrade airblast i can push those sentry busters away" and my team never told me to upgrade anything else, all they said was "pyro can u change to soldier with airstrike and base jumper?" and i can't speak so i will just nod
2:12 I don't play MVM much, a majority of my exposure being the occasional Wave 666 run But seeing that idiot pop the medics like that gave me a type of pain that can only be described as All consuming rage.
The upgrade update is somewhat good since I encountered some people who checks upgrades and instantly kicks them for having the wrong upgrades instead of giving them heads up but it is bad for people who are literal saints, willing to help new players
The only thing that’s fun with pyro in mvm that won’t anger people is combo pyro it’s not that great but it’s decent against giant medics and other giants is there better options yes is it still fun yes will it get work done yes so it works granted you might get to close so using airblast or something with knock back to separate a medic can help
No amount of healing could save that Pyro. Medic needs to prioritize his own life over others. The Pyro should play smarter and not W+M1 into everything.

If you ask why, they disturb heavy and sniper aim because the unpredictable knockback from airblast, dies many times (didnt even bough resistant at all...) and i dont even know why he use gas passer anyway tf?. Also the worse part some of them pop the fcking uber before sniper even kill that medic/giant medic.
Bro chill lmao
7:33 MY LEG FEELS FUNNY
You need to tell them what you upgraded lol
This takes longer then the next tf2 update
Sorry had to do it
Hoovydundy
You should ALWAYS upgrade the gas passer's explosion upgrade before anything else
After that, start on ammo and crit resist
Hmmm
Or don't and play Pyro with either health on kill or resistances. Let the explosion thing be handled by a Sniper or Demo.
There's loads of ways to deal with uber medics but if you really want to kill uber medics as Pyro, then the third degree exists. It's risky but far more satisfying to land than GP, and will likely catch the attention of your team in a positive light.
pyro go *revive sound here*
PYRO IS DEAD
i have 6 tours in mvm
and i know a lot of things for a low tour
specially the basic
when i do something wrong and the others tell me
i don't go calling them toxic
i ask what i did wrong and ask for advice
even though in those 6 tours i got called out just one time for shooting uber medics, but it wasn't me that shoot the uber medics but instead another player, they thought that it was me but i told them that it wasn't me
before going to my first tour in mvm i played a lot of ghost town
so i learned a lot of things in this mode
even thought it is so different than normal mvm
i don't have to much money to play mann up and boot camp there is a lot of people who don't know the basics so its hard to learn more things
i wish to know how to become a better scout, medic, and engi
i already know how to play heavy and soldier,
but other classes i played in ghost town where it has more money than regular mvm
so i don't know about what upgrades should i do in certain waves
engi and medic i know where to position and where to put my stuff.actually in normal mvm im not bad at medic but i don't upgrade my resistances, and i hadn't really too much problem with this
i think that the tour with most death as a medic i had 8 death in a 7 wave mission idk if this is that bad or not
you are not healing the pyro or not giving him overheal , why ??? bad medic ,,

I play pyro in mvm only to use the scort-shoot because of the awesome reloading speed and incredible fast shooting and obviously the knock back
Snipers and any class that needs to aim\be close to bots will hate your guts.
Why are you crying if you are winning?
13:34 texan space program
MVM Gas Pyros, Ignorant Newbies, Dirty Dirt Cheap Bots
3 boxes that give us agonizing pain
yup
Pyro is the only class im good at... not much to work with but draguns fury, gas passer and 3rd degree/powerjack (against medbots/ after death movement when the scout, heavy and medic dont do their job. Heavy supresses, scout slows and collects money, medic heals and shields while boosting heavy with kritz or the frontliner with uber/quickfix and pyro tries to deal heavy damage in the front and keep the bots at bay)
Demo can trap and help that way but if the pipes dont hit (which i mostly see and occurs) he is basically useless after wavebeginn
damn that's a good weapon set for mvm im gonna have to try that
I'm a pyro player in mvm. I use the dragons fury to keep my distance and I don't die often. Do you hate me?
I just stick to either back burner or phlog, depending on the wave.
Now I know what to do as pryo
Nothing
W O O
8:54 but you're toxic
True
why?
I used to never get why mvm players don’t like pyro but I’m convinced now :p
I feel bad for that Pyro
Don't be Like high Tours and be better
The Pyro kept dying and making terrible plays. The team had every right to be mad.
If i see pyro has gas passer on, i will kick myself out of server especially in MVM.
ME when i saw them using that weapon.
yeah as a pyro mvm player i dont like the gas passer it just makes things way too easy
Quick story i was new to the game and tried out MvM and i was a f2p (and i still am)
So i picked pyro and thought "hey if i upgrade airblast i can push those sentry busters away"
and my team never told me to upgrade anything else,
all they said was "pyro can u change to soldier with airstrike and base jumper?"
and i can't speak so i will just nod
6:45 THAT'S a living Jesus
pyro mains are in disgrace of the pyro's actions
as a pyro main i agree
if he take the phlog, he gonna die for sure. i always pick dragon fury or backburner when i play pyro in mvm
8:54
LMFAO.
😂🤣

I don't play MVM much, a majority of my exposure being the occasional Wave 666 run
But seeing that idiot pop the medics like that gave me a type of pain that can only be described as All consuming rage.
The upgrade update is somewhat good since I encountered some people who checks upgrades and instantly kicks them for having the wrong upgrades instead of giving them heads up but it is bad for people who are literal saints, willing to help new players
T post Engineer
well im new to mann up but at least i know what im doing
:(
Tacobot moment?
The only thing that’s fun with pyro in mvm that won’t anger people is combo pyro it’s not that great but it’s decent against giant medics and other giants is there better options yes is it still fun yes will it get work done yes so it works granted you might get to close so using airblast or something with knock back to separate a medic can help
Yeah, but sometimes pyroes really needed - tank, spies, and little more - even if there is a demo
Don't blame pyro as class, it's player's problem
Soldier is better for spies
@@adrianmagana153 as good as. There is no much difference
@@licemere9899 one word: range
@@Akunai_ so why isn't everyone just engineer, demo and 4 heavyes without tank and 1 sold with? Efficient ≠ fun
@@licemere9899 because that’s boring as hell
Just heal the pyro man, not a big deal. and if not, uber canteens
No amount of healing could save that Pyro. Medic needs to prioritize his own life over others. The Pyro should play smarter and not W+M1 into everything.
