GBU wants to thank you Brad for this insanely in depth review on our build. We look forward to working with you so you can continue to produce amazing content with the best blasters in the game! 💪
Airsofter from Canada here. Unreal video of an unreal product! What I love about gel blasters is how the industry has evolved replica sports. We have nowhere near the tech built into our airsoft guns that you do in this blaster. Hopefully, some of these features will make their way into our sport. Again, great video!
I play airsoft and SHS are decent perts for the money but the best gears are ZCI with the internal bearings and ASG make the best motors and I enjoy Perun fcu's mostly because of the customer service that comes with buying one... And they used a high torque motor because your running high speed gears if you run high torque gears your run a high speed motor and you can run higher rof you just need to play with active breaking to fix any pre engagement or double cycling
I think the argument for Leviathan in gel ball is the high rate of fire required to hit anything compared to Airsoft. This means optical sensors can get a coat of lube or oil faster than they would in Airsoft, while Leviathan uses contacts.
After looking into many diffferent MOSFETS I have never seen the virtual reload feature (mustn’t have looked hard enough on the Leviathan page). But I feel like it would be cool if you could te-wire it , or be able to use the bolt release as your reload button instead of flicking it into safe. Would be amazing for extra realism. Also, I’m curious as to why you have neglected using the Safety on your blaster. Even if you know that it will not be on safe, I would still add it back in just to make sure that no Negligent discharges occur. Otherwise amazing Vid. Been watching since early 2020
If my finger isn't on the trigger, it can't fire. Not a big concern if you're responsible. Probably more important in Airsoft where you're dealing with much higher velocities and harder projectiles though. I have heard of some Airsoft fields requiring safety when not in use. Seeing as I basically never use Semi I could swap back to using it though if it becomes a concern. When transporting I do not have the battery in so it can't fire in my bag etc.
hey brad, i was wondering what the best budget blaster rifle would be that at stock is fairly good but has a lot of modding capabilities and is versatile in cqb and ranged engagement? thanks for the videos they are really open-minded and informative, keep it up!!
simple, the new green SLR CQB from renegade blasters, 300 bucks for a high quality v2 blaster with metal gears, really good construction and versatility with a hop up
In general, this build would be our $1,800 bracket. They sell really quickly, so they aren't easy to come by. When they are up, we generally recommend just jumping on them. We should have a few new ones this week!
Imagine living in a country where the government treats you like a sheep, and you must even register a harmless toy at one of their gang department locations🤦♂️
@@BradleyPhillipsYT I understand, this is the first video I watched from your channel i really liked it..!! also it was the first time i saw a gel blaster firing seems really fun.. I am not in any way hating on gel blasters.. they seem really fun..!
Hey Daniel, appreciate your comment just to put the parts in context , the mosfet is $200 the gearbox shell alone is $240. So i can understand maybe you have a same performing blaster shooting around 300fps i highly doubt the parts you have are close to what is in our custom. Most blasters shoot 300fps out the box these days but in this case it is not FPS it is the quality of the build. If you have a spare moment check out our custom blaster descriptions so you can understand a bit more in depth what we offer :) have a great day.
@@GelBallUndercover Hey, only just saw this comment. At the time I was using an Expert LDT box which came with a BigRRR Mosfet, I threw in a ASG 40k Motor and M110 Spring, I also short stroked the sector, which was hitting 320fps at around 25rps. The build all up cost me around that $500, Not far off your $900 build.. However, I have made a new primary build now. A 9:1 DSG running a MK CNC Box, Warhead 35k motor, Optical Leviathan Mosfet, M160 Spring. 300fps with 40rps, and STILL in parts cost around $800.. Having your basic 18:1 builds starting at $900 is ludacris. Even if it's running a Levi and a CNC box.
Please just get into airsoft!! So many ultra realistic guns with much much much better quality and finishing then gel blasters. The bbs shoot further and is more established.
should probably point out this has already happened and they are now classified as firearms in SA. you must be over 18, have a firearms liscence and it must be registered before you can own one. to people who just screw around with them it sucks. but the 0.01% of users who used them in a dangerous manner has destroyed the industry here in SA. only the hardcore players remain. you can rent blasters at some selected events from the host however.

Hey, so I'm pretty sure Leviathan started as an Airsoft FCU and then made a gel ball version, so you could easily have these features in yours too!
You do some really good reviews bro very professional and precise. Love how your videos are loaded with technical information. Thanks mate !
All those extra fees, mate good work for sticking with it and not throwing in the towel, keep the vids coming champ.
I love how it shounds like a HPA system, it is so satisfying. Keep up the good work, I love you reviews.
nice video brad, awesome blaster, ty for the breakdown on the levi looks awesome

Wowww i love this gun,❤❤❤❤❤
Is the leviathan still available? Having trouble finding one online.
I dont have mosfet. But i run with 286-290 , can u teach us how to make gel blaster with 300fps and got good accuracy
Nice blaster👍
Bang bang bang yep, bang bang bang, yep
Hi Bradley. Where can I buy your scope.
I thought the slr mags has a 180 rounds capacity

I guess I just take things like that (including trigger discipline) seriously, especially as I pew pew real steel too.
Also if I end up using the Virtual Mag function then I think it also functions as a safety while on that setting. So may end up doing that.
so how much was this build again?
do a review on TacToys M4A1 MK3 out of the box
What head camera do you use for gameplay

The J9 has been ridiculously reliable for me. Not the best option anymore, but it is great for the 150 bucks you can get it on sale.
how much did you pay for it?
what's the age restriction?
10yrs in South Australia
@@BradleyPhillipsYT aewsome thx for getting back to me.. you will probably seen me and my sons on the course soon haha
@@BradleyPhillipsYT also I havnt found any info on rules of gel blasters at courses like can they be any fps? Like 370fps or is there a limit..
just curious, why do you run your optic so high ?
by the way nice build, for a gel blaster thats a very consistent fps.
To see over the runcam
@@BradleyPhillipsYT makes sense...
Nice
What was the cost of this blaster
Around AUD 1200 on their website I think
@@andrewsim7018 it’s more cos the ones on the website dont come with levi and cnc gearbox. It just a cast v2 I presume
This one is usually on the higher end of the $900-1800

Yup

😳😳😳
So they built that one plus 5 others in 1 day then times buy prob $1800 per blaster 6x$1800= $10800 for 1 days work
The high end build we only do 1 time every few days the others are a mix of pistols and lower modified blasters 🤙🏽
This is fucking mad
Airsoft players: You call that what..??? accurate..????
Very nice video though..!!:)

I think you miss the entire point of why gel blasters even exist. Airsoft is illegal. Gel ball is not. So we play gel ball.
running with a gel like this is why we get i. trouble. colour that up, it’ll take one kid bringing it outside and shit happens.
Kids can't own them here in SA. You must have a firearms license. Your concerns are pointless.
