I have a serious question too, Does having a wing on the back actually improve the handling - for a front wheel drive car? Do you need a different type of wing, to transfer more downforce onto the front or centre of the car, so improve grip? Was just thinking if it pushes the car downwards at the back, it would lift the front up = less grip?
@@mitchiranger decent question that mate I get it a lot due to me having a wing on a fwd car The main reason I have one is purely because the rear of these cars is so light it can lead to them being quite sketchy on track. Having a wing helps weigh the rear down (I don’t know how much but I have noticed some differences) having paired that with a polybushed rear beam and a rear arb in the future it should stiffen it up enough to stop oversteer mid corner👌

My mate has one. Fully stripped poly windows the lot. Sequential gearbox running 350bhp its absolutely epic. Painted in a Kaki green colour
