In this remarkable and incredibly heart-touching testimony, Roshan shares his spiritual journey with Mahavatar Babaji and later with Paramahamsa Vishwananda, and how the two Masters are inextricably connected. It is through the Satguru that the Paramguru can be known.
Roshan's story began in Joshimat in the Himalayas. While recently returning to Joshimat almost 26 years later, Roshan found it the perfect place to finally share his story for everyone to hear about the greatness of these spiritual masters.
Wow, how beautiful is Joshimat, right? I stayed there also on my way to Badrinath, on yatra post my nephew's suicide and I remember seeing Mahavatar Babaji in Simla when I was climbing these steps to a Hanuman mandir, it's huge and I was a little freaked out by all the monkey's that kept gathering around me, as I was climbing. Anyway, I stopped for water as the climb is steep and lot's of steps, then I saw movement from the corner of my eye, it was human and I didn't recognise Babaji then for who he was, as I wasn't really sure who he was to be honest, I found out when I got back to the UK and was reading Swami Yogananda's book and recognised him instantly. He came out of a bush, I was taken by surprise and had to look twice, he did not speak and just smiled staring at me, however, spoke to me in my mind like telepathy; he pointed in the direction of the tall Hanuman statue and told me I was on the right path and to continue on my spiritual journey.
Soon after that encounter, I met up with two guys who were climbing down and they gave me their stick to shoo away the monkeys and I felt so much happier on my climb and made it to the top in good spirits, lol. Amazing story; namaste and thanks for sharing; how blessed. 🙏🏽

I asked a very specific question the other day, a very personal question to Babaji and soon after I see 11:11 on my clock and also another very important number that occurs for me almost every day 13:03. Now I see Babaji pictures and videos everywhere and I feel very calm and centered. It's like he showed up and told me I'm on the right path and all is good. Namaste!

In 4 decades of increasingly intimate awareness of mahavatar, although that is only a name given by some, my experience has been of natural, humor, and this way of combining infinite ability and yet always honoring the unfolding of each individual.
I truly believe that the way to mahavatar is simply into the heart of our own being, hence your trust of that opening within, beyond, and a continuum.
With the adepts is living in the reality of one being, as the ocean of our existence, and refinement of relationship as the spiritual unfolding. That is how we grow through blessing each other, hence how could mahavatar be anything other than this intelligent love, personified as each of us will learn to be. How could one have awareness of mahavatar and not the body of the one, and it’s many expressions?
While my own path is strong from kriya, there is this mistaken perception, as if mahavatar is owned by the kriya paths, whereas this is far from truth, unless one is able to greatly expand their notion of what kriya and the nature of existence.
My first night in Badrinath, he took me flying for some time where we looked down and around of the many stars of various practioners, and their Sadhana as, in the area for some distance.
Here in New Zealand I feel no less distant than in a 14,000 ft cave on neelkanth. Babaji is, in my experience, while someone that can touch me and be touched in return, the inner space of our being, in all its nuances, in which all those awake live as such. For those doubting the experiences that people such as Roshin have the courage to share after some time, why?
May our paths be far from dry, moistened by the substance of our essences, reflecting in the one, eternally dancing in the unchanging vajra light, of which we are.
You are an evolved soul.
And seeing many evolved souls in this world keeps me grounded.
To be born as hindu in this lifetime is good luck, to be a yogi-seeker in the journey of self-discovery by devi's grace and blessing guru path, is winning the Jackpot.

It’s so beautiful that out of your experience with the lady that you learned about errors of judgement in this way. Many might have purely focused on the magic element such as where it led you 11 years later and seen that as the only relevant thing. But to actually come out of it and think that the subject of judgement was the most important thing you learned is so beautifully grounded (in my opinion). With all the unfamiliar and sometimes magical things people can experience, it helps us to remember we are on earth, where there is ground, and it helps our minds to feel that.

What's shaktipaat ?
Shaktipat ist die Übertragung göttlicher Energie vom Meister auf einen Schüler. Es gibt vier Möglichkeiten: Berührung, Wort, Blick oder Gedanke. Im besten Fall führt es zur Erleuchtung des Schülers. Wie bei Yogananda, der nach dem Wischen der Veranda von Sri Yukteswar an der Stirn berührt wurde.
Shaktipat is the transmission of divine energy from the master to a disciple. There are four possibilities: Touch, Word, Gaze or Thought. At its best, it leads to the enlightenment of the disciple. As with Yogananda, who was touched on the forehead by Sri Yukteswar after wiping the veranda.
