In concrete you either step up or step down. I have pictures weeks or even months after of the other gas stations I did. None of the concrete (mostly) is brown or chipping around edges. The two gas stations before this one I did a massive amount of work in hotter weather... I believe "My Concrete Credentials" video I made has pictures of both the gas stations.. I later texted him those pictures and more.
real question how does a guy like me get these kind of concrere jobs? i like stuff like this because it can be easy if u have the right stuff (and im aure its a set price and the work is solid)
@@GRUBB-MUDD Well like anything or job in life you go in person, online and be persistent. Go to all the businesses and show anyone and everyone important your portfolio. For me I found my company on job posting sites like Ziprecruiter. They already have excavation crew, pipe crew, and more so they figured they would have concrete crew to do their own repairs. Well lucky me I am that guy and perfect for the job. Though I do wish I had a buddy, friend, badass finisher with me. So I am trying to build that but people are either inexperienced, dont want to work, learn, or all of the above..
@CONMAN hey thanks bro, no u r right about having a 2nd finisher it would make things alot easier. we pretty much do all residential, and it is getting harder to get concrete in indianapolis, but i can still get it outside of indy. its crazy, so lucky me i that i live 20 mins outside of indy and it didnt put me out of buisness. but def took away a whole area where i do work at. maybe next year i will just do colabs w other youtubers lol. ttu later bro. good luck
Difference is Eric would actually show up, late or on time. Hes cares. Concrete aint for the weak, love your videos big fan of Victory, but you got that edge that we need. Keep up the good work brother!
Moves gotta be made.. Keep pushing ...Get as much equipment as you can so you don't need as many ppl.. Theres uber... I have /had a guy just like that..lol .
i had a company that used to bring me hot mudd everytime (srm), unless i got the 1st truck of the day. What does that tell me. they r loading on top of old concrete which when u have to put 50 gallon in 5 yards ita going to pop alot more then not. anyways good video conman
your explaing to him what u got done as if he the boss, he wants to see if its worth it (lazywork) for him to come in.. if you have him clean up that truck dude that a two day job for him lmao cut the rope your enabling it i learned this with couple my guys
@@LucidMindtv the old saying first impressions does 30 mns says a lot.. you don’t wana be the guy that cuts them lose but you are that guy but for the right reasons spend more time explaining vs them actually taking it just like when he walked away when U jumped into the bobcat to get it up on the cement.. some people play the part if I act like I don’t know how then they will have me do the easy stuff so play dumb haha

@@LucidMindtv wow.
@@LucidMindtv Have a good one I've got to get back to work.
You need to actually pour your concrete at a four inch slump like you told the quality control guy
Where did you see a higher slump then that? Only one pour on here was just over 5 inch slump 1 video..
A Lot of talk and no work
