@@rockapartyjd I don’t believe these amps are a significant upgrade to what you have. I am sure these are decent amps, but they are just another Chinese made product. If you are looking to upgrade, I would consider Mmats. I think they cost a a bit more than Morel ( a 6 channel is about 1200). But they are made in Fla.,and are first rate. ( not all Mmats are made in USA). But Mmats are a small manufacturer and you buy direct from their Florida facility, and offer a rare opportunity to buy an American made product…but that is just one man’s opinion….when the time came for me to replace my 25 year old Soundstreams, I bought German made Helix amps, seemed fitting for my old BMW. ✌️

hey, I have a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander and i wanted to add a sub. My options are either the P300 10T or the P300 12T. I dont want to take up much space as its a family car and we need all the space we can get. The factory Speaker provide quite alot of bass but i was wondering about the main difference between the 10 and 12. I mainly listen to Rap and some sad music with some low end bass. I dont want something that will rattle windows and make the car rattle/squeak. Whats my best option. Thanks. Not sure if youll see this message.
It's an A/B class amp. I know, with audison, the lower rated power configuration makes the amp run closer to an A class amp. I assume this is the same thought on this amp. I really like this 2 channel and will be doing more research about it!

Not much has changed with regards to amplifiers in the last 20 years except for Class D has gotten a lot better. Car Audio needs to take a look at what the headphone companies have been doing over the last 5 years. We need DSP’s and Amplifiers with balanced connections as well as digital inputs and outputs, i2s, coaxial digital, optical…multiple not just one. Most DAP’s blow away any head unit and have for quite a few years now. Honestly this is just another basic amplifier with basic specs that will just blend in with all the rest…Where is the innovation🤔 Oh and with so many people using DSP’s why do companies keep putting crossovers on their amps? We don’t need them!!! 😆
They only have a 1 year warranty. Morel must not trust their products. You can get the AudioControl D-4.800, which is an amp + DPS combo, and the LC-1.1500 for roughly the same price, with a 2 year warranty. You can get 5 year warranty too, but it requires wasting money on a stinger kit, and having an "authorized" retailer install it. The crossovers are there for compatibility. It's such a small cost I don't see a reason to remove them. But ya there's no innovation. Might be a good opportunity for a new company to fill the gap.
@@willjohnsonjohnson Crossovers are useless when you have a DSP which almost everyone has these days…that’s why you get rid of them, especially in the $1,000 plus amplifiers.
I would love to buy these amps, but man...... are they overpriced in comparison to other offerings in the market. I ended up with 2 Stereo Integrity 125 x 4 amps that in total cost just over the price of a single mps 2.500. The SQ in the S.I. amps is absolutely amazing and use high end components just like the Morel Limited amps. You're paying for the name and marketing with these amps unfortunately even though they are a quality piece of equipment. You could even get your hands on some used Linear Power amps or some Mosconi Pro amps for that price...... That's why these amps are barely selling.
Great amps with some great internals. Just because it’s made in China doesn’t mean it’s inferior. Some great products come out of China. It’s made in China because nobody is willing to pay what it would cost to be made here. Blame yourself! Consumerism.
Not to dig this old post up, but the manufacturing cost wouldn't be that significant, but if they sold the amp at the same price it would cut into their profit margins, so they simply don't. There have been stories on things like phones, comparing what the cost difference would be, it's a tiny fraction of the retail price.

Please don't compare a so call high end alpine to this. Morel CCC is the king of car audio.

Orrrr, Mosconi One 250.2 (and twice the power) for 250 bucks LESS. Morel is on crack.
not sure how it compares to the 250.2 but I had the 100.4 and upgraded to the Morel and the resulting audio was manifestly superior.
