I'm doing these for a dorm room design I came up with for a friend's daughter. She loves flowers so....I'm going all out and making a few of these for the wall and for standing around. fun times!!! hi Chloe! That was soooo lovely! How did you connect or extend those stucco corner for the length?

    • @daochloedao
      @daochloedao  7 лет назад

      Jomel Tasarra Hi, the stucco I bought were super tall. I had cut it down but if you need to make it higher just used duct tape to connect them.

    Beautiful flowers...i plan to use this tutorial to make flowers for my daughters alice in wonderland birthday party.
    Question: ARe you able to show a video of how you assembled at the store?

    • @chloedao3868
      @chloedao3868 7 лет назад +1

      I did show I did in the video. I just literally used a zip tie or taped to attached to the stucco stem and used the green tissue to hide it.

  • @merlynnw
    @merlynnw 7 лет назад

    Thank you for the tutorial. My question is, did you use just one wire corner for your stem & then wrap it with the paper? Also where did you find that smaller paper with the tape already on it? 😊

    • @chloedao3868
      @chloedao3868 7 лет назад

      HI, Sorry, just seeing all this questions. I used only one stucco corner per flowers. I then wrapped it with paper kraft roll with pre- adhesive glue which is activated by water. You can buy it in a roll and most shipping section at Office Depot will have it.

    I have question.
    About the stucco corner, can we make it flexible easily ? Cause, when i look to your stems, its different in size

    • @chloedao3868
      @chloedao3868 7 лет назад

      Yes, it is flexible but you need gloves and a strong hand.

    Can u show a pic of stucco corner coz here u hv already covered it?

  • @robinstafford935
    @robinstafford935 6 лет назад

    Maybe use a tin can instead of a plastic cup. Besides more weight, it would give you a bigger footprint for stability.

      Hi,
      I bought it at a supplies store in Harwin in Houston. I am sorry I do not remember the name of the place. This color is very common. I think Stewart's Packaging in the Height have a color close to it. Good Luck. Chloe

      Maria Quintero Hi, sorry I am late on the reply. Basic tissue paper. I would buy them at store fixture supplies or online. You will need a lot of them.

    hiiiii, i just wanna know how can i put these flowers not on a wall, but outside for a birthday party, it's for a outside party and there will be no walls ;/ any tips on how to keep them up? :(

    • @daochloedao
      @daochloedao  7 лет назад

      Michelle Magallanes Hi, did you watch the video? It stand by itself with the base. No wall is needed, use a heavier base then me bc the bigger the flowers the heavier the base need to be.

    • @daochloedao
      @daochloedao  7 лет назад +1

      I made them myself. Pause my video at that section and read the measurements. It does not have to be like mine. Mother Nature is beautiful b/c it is organic, just eyeball it and cut. Just do it. It will be beautiful.
