the creator of the universe created the night for you and i to lie down and sleep, because the body He created for you need to rest at night. He made the day for man to work and night for sleep, this is a commandment that one must keep in order to have a healthy life. The bible said, He give to his be love sleep, the bible said He that watches over us as we sleep never sleep nor slumber. If you are a real born again believer, you don't need to be afraid of witch or demon because they can't come and attack you at night, they should be the ones to be afraid of you because if they touch you they touch the apple of God eyes. This so called men of God have put so much fear in their congregation to an extent that they are afraid to sleep at night without praying and disturbing others people sleep. Why must you stay awake at midnight, did the Lord say you shouldn't sleep at night?. When the night come, go on your knees and thank the Lord for all He has done for you during the day, then commit yourself and your family into His hand, lay down and sleep. Proverb 3:24 said, when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Psalm 3:5 said, i lie down and sleep, i wake again because the Lord sustain me. Psalm 4:8 said, in peace i will lie down and sleep, for you alone Lord make me dwell in safety. Follow the order of creation, for God know why He created the night for sleep, and daytime for work, for lack of sleep kills.
Sounds like eisegesis to me. Since Jesus died at the 9th hour (about 3pm), should that become a special hour of prayer also since that was when it was finished? Whose story would elicit more power than that of Jesus but I guess there are no references to midnight with Jesus.
