There is much to be learned from a rainstorm. When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road. But in doing such things as passing under the eaves of house's you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning you will not be perplexed but still get the same soaking.
Every warrior must learn the simple truth that pain is inevitable and suffering is optional.

The warrior mindset isn’t really needed for most people because we’re in times of mostly peace unlike the olden days where people fought for their lives every day. But the storm will come, now is the calm. If you truly know this you can prepare as a warrior in the meantime, that’s all we can do for now, prepare and be ready.

Well bushido was inspired in local religions, so it is no surprise that beside being a code of conduct it’s also spiritual.
Bushido is more than words to memorize. Armor is more than a means of defense. A sword is more than sharp steel. A bow is more than a weapon. A samurai is more than a killer. -i
