Or you get two non-tippers at both orders, paying three whole dollars when you’ve driven to an entire other town for both. I’ve only been doing it a week, but have learned a lot about taking the right orders!
The tac on orders be bad tippers. I had one yesterday that was a double. They were both going to the same part of town. I just looked at the names and dropped one of them. Turns out, the one I dropped was the bad tipper.
As a doordasher myself I can't say you have no control over the food getting cold you're supposed to be using hot bags and the hot bags make quite a difference
Yeah try that in hey Chick-fil-A bag you're going to be handing them an oily bag full of grease LOL not all orders are good for the bag but my passenger seat has a seat heater
Dude ..it's simple..the food is sitting on the counter cold as hell and then here you come along picking up the order and delivering it cold...What's the confusion here.
You do have control. They asked me to pick up another order while I was waiting for one at Popeyes. My original pay was $9 for 4 miles. Then they asked me to get another one right there for an additional $2.75 😂 for 7 additional miles 🤣 NOT! i let that one time out. Hell no
Yup I had to open a second page. Some cross sided women reported me making my first account get deactivated. I told the lady I was coming back with her two pizzas. She stayed in a apartment that looked like a school. I shouldn't have to walk up 4 floors to deliver her food. Best believe she was downstairs 🤣 goofy
You always have control this is a lie. Also I will take double stacks especially from the same restaurant. See how he's carrying the food outside the hotbag...he probably isn't even using it...I've NEVER had a customer complaint about food being cold because I use the tools provided. I text each customer letting them know my progress, I don't expect a response its just an FYI for the customer. Generally the deliveries aren't that far apart but even if it was 7 miles food in a good hot bag makes all the difference. This is not a job, you're an independent contractor which means you need to invest in your business to make it great everyday. The biggest issue for customer food being cold is non tipped orders, these get past around over and over until doordash increases the payout.
Hey Doordash customers, that Dasher very likely takes the food out of the hotbag upon arrival at your house and that 5 second walk from the car to the house makes no difference. FYI, the longer your food stays in that hotbag the more likely your fries are delivered soggy, your breads nice and damp, and your drinks watered down. Etc. Long story short, Doordash isn't interested in you, they are interested in your money and betting on you not having the drive to hassle with support and trying to get your money back. Lastly, regardless of the hotbag, the quality of your food, picked up first, depends greatly on the second stop the Dasher has to make. If that restaurant gets that second order to the Dasher late, guess what your food is doing in that hotbag? It's not tasting fresh by the time it gets to you, that's what; and by all means, if you see your Dasher roaming around the map provided in the app (that Dasher is most assuredly picking up a second order for another Doordash customer and likely delivering to the no-tip customer first, who obviously get to piggyback off your generosity and respect, thanks to Doordash), immediately call Doordash and cancel the order, get a full refund, and/or have them place the order again, and once again, gamble on you getting your order first. Hey Doordash, was it really necessary for you to hide payouts from Dashers who care about getting orders to respectful tipping customers first while simultaneously cutting our offers per stacked order by 33% or more? It was already bad enough you cut our single-trip offers by 25%. Some facts for the unaware customer. Doordash pays Dashers anywhere from $1 to $2.50 to drive to the restaurant, wait for your order, and drive to your home to either "hand it to customer," or "leave at door." Dashers make that typical 5 to 10 mile round-trip journey using their own vehicle, paying for their own gas, and paying for the maintenance to do so. This is likely why your no-tip order takes forever to get to you, if at all; because that no-tip order doesn't make any financial sense whatsoever and accepting it would be foolish. Doordash is racing to the bottom of the barrel, betting on Dashers taking those no-tip orders through trickery (e.g. "stacking" them with tipped orders so the payout looks better, which this video makes known), and status rankings (e.g. "Top Dasher"). Hey Dashers, stop taking no-tip orders and most definitely stop taking stacked orders because you know by now Doordash is going to route you to the disrespectful customer first and the respectful customer last; and we hate that because we appreciate tips. No more stacks, no more disrespect. Make better decisions. Do it for your livelihood, your car, and your time. Be better to yourself; respect yourself.
1. Many Dashers have hot bags and cold ice chests in their cars, and use them there. Bags marked Doordash have been stolen to use to steal food at restaurants (probably by non dashers- I've had 3 stolen). 2. Dashers do not always have control. If you un-assign too many orders so that the second one won't be cold etc., your completion rate drops. If it goes below 80% you can be de-platformed (translation: fired). 3. Each order could be 12 miles or more, which in traffic can take a lot of time, especially if restaurants are busy. 4. Customers blame the drivers when they see they are not heading straight for them, and give lower reviews and tips. 5. I prefer to use the time getting folks their food faster, rather than texting. And I never text while driving.
So you start this country saying that of you use a hot bag the food WILL be hot, then you say that it will get cold if the order is tossed around? What a load of BULLSHIT
Good. Cause drivers use this bs to faboritize orders in terms of tips and not in order of receipt. I do doordash too, some of y'all expect use doordash like it's a high income job. It's not. It's a gig. If anything it should pay less than a regular job. Still complainihg about low tips and either grow up or get a real job. Sincerely the guy that never tips
Real tip. Get easy to read house numbers and leave the effing porch light on.
And now you know how Paramedics feel 😊

Thank you for doing that very much appreciated
I think he means in the case where the food is sitting on the counter, and the employees refuse to remake it.

@JOE SMITH 🤣😎
Shady tactics from dd 😤😤
For real! It seems like they have a lot of shady tactics!
If you're getting door dash, you should just expect cold food lol. If you want hot food, go up and go eat out
Non tippers get double stacked with good tippers orders
Stackers seldom tip cheap af

Thank you for this tip, I’m new to dashing
I just deliver the original order first than the tag along
I hate when they do that. That pisses me off when ser that one customer paid for both orders
Yeah I’m glad you are spreading the word, especially when the hood tipper gets burned, not nice DD!!
I remember receiving a fat tip for a pizza order using a fancy hot bag. When i opened it the pizza was smoking!

Always request a full refund and never take no for an answer. If one person denies you, close conversation and restart with another agent
You clearly never had a college credit card with a company that wants your money
Fuck u! Your one of the reason you guys dont get compensation everytime the real deal pop ups! Really full refund for a missing french fries?
I put the first order in a hot bag then wait for second order
I hate when they do that
good heads up

And that’s why ur order is either cold, has a long wait time or even if it gets delivered to ur place lol good luck non tipper
Found the poor man. Also DoorDash drivers are independent contractors moron, they pay for their own maintenance, gas, taxes etc
