The watergate hotel in Washington DC, is historically famous for a huge scandal that happened back in the 70s, leading to president Richard Nixon resigning from office. Thank you for uploading this video. I live in the east part of the USA. I am planning on visiting Butuan city in February to see my girlfriend. She lives in the municipality of Tagbina. I am really nervous. It is 14,000 km away from my house! It will definitely be an adventure! The hotel has a high rating. It seems like it's welcoming to Americans. It looks beautiful. I hope my GF will like it. I noticed that there are many places within walking distance of the hotel. That is a great thing because I don't want to call for a ride everyday. The website says that it has free airport pickup. That is definitely a good thing. I heard butuan has pizza restaurants that actually deliver! I'm looking forward to visiting!

No. That's about the same here. $30 a night. The grounds look ok. But that looks like a weekly rate place. With a continental breakfast. The rooms just to small. $40 max.
@@royroy1685 USA. I stay in hotels on the regular. I hover around $69 to $80 a night. That quality room is in the $30's or $40's a night. And it's because of space. The room is small. Nice but small. The only place you get that room for $100+ a night is in NY or some place expensive. But average people like me won't do pay more than $50 because of the space alone. The out side looks nice but this is a weekly rate hotel.

I find the best way to book this hotel is to go through booking.com is actually cheaper than contacting the hotel directly. Depending on the time of year you can pay anywhere from $35 a night to up to $50 a night depending on the season. I hope this helps and stay safe. God bless.

Very nice, I'll stay there when I go to Jabonga. I love all the nature in Butuan City, all the mangroves.

My wife and I stayed there before. It is a small hotel, but very nice, and is close to the malls and other attractions.

I been to Butuan many times, but I stayed at Dottie's place always. Next time I will try Watergate Hotel.
