It's weird because with stuff like the Steven Universe remake, the original is literally more energetic than the orchestral remix. The sound directors should've really aimed for a more fitting OST rather than just something that sounds good to fans.
@@birdflox1337 It's funny because the orchestral SU theme is probably the best song currently in the game but it's carried HEAVILY by the theme's original melody and SU specifically has way better songs for a fighting game even within it's own vacuum. Opal's theme literally sounds like a track from Tekken 3.

Interesting. I only hear motifs from the full version of the 2003 theme so idk how many people would get it but it sounds really good. Just wish it was also a remix of the more notable parts of the theme but some stages have multiple themes so who knows.
This plus the PPG and Dexter stages show me how big of a gap the newerr stages are music wise. They really shoild go back and eearrange some of the old tracks cause they still lack the energy needed for a fighting game. These ones are way better than that "generic amusement park music" asthetic
This is getting really close to that fighting game style of music a lot of players want. I especially love the synth wave-y bits with the surf-guitar strum, definitely feels like the Teen Titans theme, regardless of which show. Not quite on that same level as the Rick and Morty stage's themes, but I think it's just a matter of the orchestra vs. this groovy tune matching their respective shows.
The Adam West Batman WHAM!/POW! music stings are a really fun homage. This version of the Titans theme is very surf rock, so I guess it's time appropriate, too.
Not going to lie the fact that they have Guns with Agent Smith and killings from Jason along with swearing of mature language when turned on and character like Rick, Tom, and Jason… imo it should be equally as popular as smash…
Late to this, but there is a reason as to why the game isn’t as popular as it may seem. The monetization is extremely bad for MVS along with the grinding for characters which take an almost impossible amount of time to get all of them. It’s quite bad atm but they have been slowly making changes in gameplay as such. Sadly, nothing has changed in the monetization department. Me and many others suspect it’s likely Warner Bros being greedy and wishing to squeeze out any pinch of money from players. The monetization (and gameplay too forgot to add this) upon relaunch led to many players being drawn away from the game after the first day. Sucks too cause the game is actually starting to grow on me a bit ever since the changes to gameplay were implemented. I hope season 2 draws back some eyes at the very least to see the gameplay changes.

I say they do an composite version, like the rest of the DC characters. The main design is a fusion of their comic and animated versions, with most skins being from specific incarnations.(Yes, including GO. Liking or not, it's part of its history and it has its fans, so it deserves to be represented in some way. Plus ones from Titans, Young Justice, the DC animated movies, specific comic storylines, the upcoming new DC Cinematic Universe, etc. )
I highly doubt they will use the Go! Models since all the other DC characters would be out of place alongside them. Will probably be a more multiversus stylized version of the 2003 design.
I honestly hope they make the Go! Titans and the OG separate characters, like Link and Toon Link instead of just making them skins. There's a lot of funny stuff you could do with TTG and some cool stuff for the original.

This is by far the best track in the whole game, in the sense that it both sounds good and fits the context perfectly. It's actual fighting music.
