Hey friends! I've been seeing all of your requests for a Tamil cover and I figured it's about time, so here we are! Had a wonderful time collaborating with Keba to bring you our version of Vaseegara. I'm so happy to cover this beautiful song because its one we have grown up on. Regardless of whether you know the Hindi version or the Tamil version, I think hearing our rendition will bring back some memories :). I'm been following Jonita for the last 3-4 years, not to exaggerate or to make comparisons but in the sea of today's soul-less music scene, my soul finds comfort/peace in her voice/songs. Tough as much as I enjoy her renditions of classics, which are the reason I got hooked in the first place, it would be a delight to hear something fresh & original in her amazing voice.

I am not Indian, and (with all due respect) I have no idea about the dialect or the meaning of the lyrics. I discovered this song a year ago, and it has been in my playlist on Spotify and RUclips ever since; I've listened to it almost every day. At the time, a year ago, I had just been dumped by the love of my life. Going through that, this song always drew me to it, even though I didn't know a word of it; somehow, it felt just right. I remember listening to this song in the middle of the night, repeatedly. However, today (7/12/23), for the first time, I saw someone translate the lyrics to English, and I broke down in tears (I'm a 38-year-old rugged man) because this is exactly how I still feel about the girl who left me, and this is how we (maybe just me) imagined our lives would be. I don't know who wrote the song or who did the music, BUT you proved that music is universal; it needs no language. Having said that, this might be the last time I'm ever going to listen to this. Thank you
