The evolution of Waluigi from 2000 to 2017.
Waluigi is Luigi's very tall and skinny rival, and Wario's partner. Waluigi made his debut in Mario Tennis, and since then, he has made playable appearances exclusively in Mario franchise's spin-off titles. He has been voiced by Charles Martinet ever since his debut. His name is a portmanteau of the Japanese words, Warui and Ruīji, meaning "bad" and "Luigi". In addition, his name is an anagram to the Japanese word Ijiwaru, which can mean "ill-tempered" or "cruel".

Waluigi must be a very interesting character due to his appearance and funny animations. Seeing him trying to cause trouble for the other Mario to make himself look doesn't doesn't seem to work out as we can see him. He may not be important seeing the treatment he has got, but he is a very good character despite acting evil nonetheless.

Victinion7060 I would have to disagree, Wario is an original character that has his own game series, story, and his own set of characters. Whereas Waluigi was purely created to be Wario's partner is sports games. I would rather see Waluigi join the Wario Ware cast.
I think he should. There really hasn't been too much mentioned about him except for Switch skins for MC: Switch Edition. Who even knows? He might have a cameo in Super Mario Odyssey. Just because Wario is an original character doesn't mean Waluigi can't join. That's kind of like saying Luigi himself can't be in Smash because Mario is the more popular character.
