    • @productiontrimcarpenter
      @productiontrimcarpenter  10 дней назад +1

      @@whyishow They were the TapKon name brand and came with the masonry bit. I believe the were number 10, 3 inch

    In my experience the impact driver will help avoid stripped screw heads.

    • @productiontrimcarpenter
      @productiontrimcarpenter  7 месяцев назад

      10-4, it does help, but in the soft wood and small screws you have to be light on the trigger LOL. I also use the impact as well. I should have mentioned that in the video. Thanks for the comment, as it is much appreciated.

    Why did you remove the concrete at the bottom! The wood will last longer if it sets on top. Off away from the ground contact.

    • @productiontrimcarpenter
      @productiontrimcarpenter  9 месяцев назад

      The concrete was brittle and crumbling. If you pay attention… I stated in the video that I would redo the concrete later. I did make a small form and did replace the concrete at the bottom!

    My buddy cut 2 of his fingers off with that exact miter saw😮

    • @productiontrimcarpenter
      @productiontrimcarpenter  Год назад

      Yep, most folks have no idea how dangerous a miter saw can be. It can pull the fingers into the blade just like a table saw.

    I appreciate your skill, but just a tip from an editing perspective, 15 minutes is way too much time to spend on one hinge. You would have a lot more views if you edit this whole thing down to 15 minutes total. Great job on the door.

    • @productiontrimcarpenter
      @productiontrimcarpenter  Год назад +1

      Very much appreciate the tip. I really really suck at shooting and editing, and will do my best to shorten in the future. YT recommends around 20 minutes. Not sure if I should keep going or not. Thanks again.
