- In today’s video, I share my favorite method for folding and storing tissue paper sewing patterns. This method makes the pattern pieces easy to get back into those tiny envelopes. Plus, it keeps them flat and organized so that when you’re ready to sew the pattern again, it’s easy to find the pattern pieces you need. Let me know in the comments if you have any tricks for storing this kind of sewing pattern.

Great tip on keeping the pattern pieces facing out. Thank you.
Thank you! Sometimes it's simple things that can end up being really helpful.
So great to see someone else uses the same method I do! :)
Very nice! I like your assistant as well!
Thank you! He's very helpful. :)
okay, how would store your patterns that have been printed on heavy duty paper? I don't like to use pins when cutting out patterns, I use a chalk and trace around the outline the pattern pieces.
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I keep the big patterns rolled up and stored vertically in a bin.
So if you’re sewing view A, do you still cut out all the other pieces (views B, C, etc) and fold them in the tidy manner? Normally I leave them uncut and try to re-fold the big sheets... and that’s probably why I wind up with a giant mess!
I usually only cut out the pieces that I need and refold the ones I don't.
