From the video we don't know if you indicated, who moved over first or a lot of information needed to determine who was at fault. However it looks like there was 0 reason to move over anyway and the whole situation could have been avoided if you had just stayed in the lane. What everyone seems to be ignoring is that BG decides to move into the middle lane when he should be correctly proceeding down the lane he is currently in. The car from the slip road has enough space to move into without him moving over, thats if the slip road car wants to move over. 4 lanes, left two go one way with the 2nd lane going the same as lane 3 and 4. The Audi was the established car on the motorway and was moving into the empty lane at a faster speed due to this. BG should never have moved into the middle lane as his correct lane was lane 2 (or 1 if lane one is technically a slip road) to continue down motorway.

traffic lights in the uk need to have countdown timers for both vehicles and pedestrians to let them know how much time is left before the lights change! some cities already have this but this needs to be rolled out across the cuntry, that way any vehicle driving past can either slow own or speed up accordingly. i've been on both sides where i had enough time to drive through an orange and stopped only to annoy vehicles behind me and i've also driven through an orange when i should've come to a stop. really takes the guesswork out of it.
2:45 there's no need to brake-check anyone on the M8. A couple of miles up the road and you'll all be slowed to a crawl anyway as central belt commuters love going 50 in a 70, leaving huge gaps between them and the car in front, and all sit in the outside lane so nobody can overtake. Even Spanish drivers are better than those Scots. Drives me crazy every week!
8:19 While the crossing appears to be still under construction and not in use, the road markings clearly show it's a crossing & irregardless of whether or not it appears to be in use or not, should still be treated as a crossing. From the video we don't know if you indicated, who moved over first or a lot of information needed to determine who was at fault. However it looks like there was 0 reason to move over anyway and the whole situation could have been avoided if you had just stayed in the lane.
Because of your driving you possibly caused nearly two crashes (one with the white car if they changed lane when it wasn't safe) and one when they swerved into the next lane during the brake check, which wasn't needed (and definitely should have moved back to the left).
what cam car did was extremely dangerous. it looks like they moved over without checking mirrors while the other car was overtaking doing the same thing when the white car slows down a bit almost collecting the little Citroen.

Maybe Y2K shouldn't stop or park like that on double yellows.
