I'm happy to hear the hand-tied fits better than the regular because BT is bigger than RW or JR on me. My wigs are my hair because I've paid good money to own them! They don't belong to anyone else.
As someone who had thick wavy hair before chemo, I may buy this based solely on this great video! To be honest, I’ve only bought straight wigs because I’ve straightened my waves most of my life and I hate frizz lol. But this wig imo is GORGEOUS. Of course that could be 90 percent that you are gorgeous, Taz ❤️
Great information. I decided, based on your previous review, that this handtied version had too much hair for me. I love your color terms, so helpful, and wanted to see this color. I had heard that it was a non-rooted version of butterbeer, but it reads much lighter. I have found that wigs that are predominantly neutral look best on me. One reason I follow you is that wigs look similarly on me. I could tell about the density and also the length. Thanks again.

Cream Soda Blonde! Practically every Belle Tress I own is this beautiful color. I also like the Roca Margarita Blonde. On the side by side, I liked the ButterBeer Blonde on you, although, they both are lovely on you. I only have one BBB and I have never worn it and I never will. My skin is extremely fair. The dark root is so stark and it’s all I see. I think it’s a beautiful shade, I just wish I could wear it. Thank you for sharing your time making these very informative videos.
I couldn’t agree more…unless you are incredibly lucky, starting out with wigs involves trial and error. I ordered and returned several, trying to find colors and styles that worked for me. I faithfully watched your “how to” videos re: colors, styling, thinning…everything. Once you get it dialed in, it is worth the effort. I’m in love with my Kushikamana and Dalgona in Butterbeer and I get nothing but compliments…nobody has a clue. Stick with it, ladies and try not to get frustrated…you’ll get there!

I have a few RW wigs and love them but one of my wigs is bell tress and it’s my go to bc it’s so comfortable, it’s cool brew chic root beer float. One of my RW is called pretty please and I love how it looks, but it is SO big on me. The water helps A LOT with the volume. I ordered sea salt spray bc like you said in that video, it’ll make it stay. 💖
Thank you for talking on the subject about how so many now are wearing some sort of clip ins, extensions, wigs, etc. I’m new to this & I mean new! I am 46 & have struggled literally since I was old enough to start doing my hair. I have genetically thin, baby fine hair. It was a tad thicker when I was younger, but now that I’m older & also have Hashimoto’s, which definitely doesn’t help, it’s so very hard. Hard to the point that trying to do anything with my own hair is not fun, it’s a chore & I hate it & it causes me anxiety. I just started out with some clip in top knots that I’ve been wearing pretty regularly & have been having a lot of fun with those, so now I think I’m going to start wearing wigs. I’m tired of struggling & if there’s a fix to this problem, why not, right!?!? I know I’m going to be paranoid about wearing a wig out in public the first time, so thank you for reassuring me that people really aren’t paying attention, & if they are, so what! Just the fact that I don’t have to struggle with my own hair anymore is more than worth it to me. ❤

Taz, I purchased this hand-tied wig (in Roca Margarita) based on your previous review. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS WIG!!! It is the best Belle Tress wig I have purchased to date, including the regular Caliente. I do NOT like poufy hair on me and I DO like the bangs to fall over my forehead (as opposed to contour). This wig is everything I've ever wanted and I feel the price point is worth it with this wig. It is so comfortable and natural. The ear-to-ear lace front is stunning. A note on the color Roca Margarita (if this helps anyone on their wig journey). I have light skin with freckles and had strawberry blonde bio hair until I turned salt & pepper. The Roca Margarita root on this wig really blends into my own bio hair. Between the light highlights that go right up to the hairline and the neutral color of the rooting, it just works. I never in a million years thought I would wear a rooted silver-blonde, but I took a chance based on Taz's prior reviews of this color and it is an amazing match.

I just got a new, regular Caliente, same color I've owned in the past, Brown Sugar Sweet Cream, and I noticed a big difference in this one as opposed to the original that I owned. It has a lot more hair, first of all, a lot more! Secondly, it fits tighter than other BT pieces I've owned in the past. Third, the curl pattern has a lot more body. I really like it! The original was almost lank compared to this one. I wonder if it is just this piece or if they have changed some things up in their caps and the density, at least on the newer Calientes. One thing about the hand tied BT cap that I noticed and does not make sense to me is that they put rose lace on the nape rather than felt. It really doesn't make sense to go *almost* all the way to luxury, then cheap out on that portion of the cap. That gives me pause because I feel that it might be a bit itchy. Otherwise, I'd love a hand tied Caliente. By the way, I had Cream Soda Blonde on Kona and it was really bright around the face, almost white. It was a bit shocking to see myself in the mirror in that color, just a bit too much for me, but I can see a lot of ladies who would love it. Overall, Caliente is one of their very best styles. I'm a lover of the Dalgona16, those face framing layers are just so beautiful on pretty much anyone I've seen it on. It just occurred to me that Joy by Wig Pro reminds me of Dalgona 16. I'm really tickled with the handtied versions, especially the Dalgona 16, personally. I had an off topic question. Are there rules that all retailers are bound to by the manufacturers? For instance new styles etc? I've noticed some retailers doing things others don't and I'm not trying to be judgmental, but I personally have never been ok supporting people, businesses etc that are a party to anything that is wrong. Maybe it's from owning my own business or my history of upper retail management. I just have noticed some inconsistencies that I never realized before and thought maybe you knew. Thanks for another great insightful video.
From my own observation, the manufacturers can do whatever they want.. there is no reason for why some retailers are able to do things and others aren't. This again is just my own personal opinion and observation. Great question! I often wondered if others noticed things like that..lol. Hugs! XOXO

Great review. Beautiful style and color. However, it is important to state that HF fibers would probably only last a month of you wear it daily, which makes it a very pricey investment.
I have not had this experience, so I am not willing to testify to that. There are MANY factors that determine how long a heat friendly wig will last for an individual. XOXO

Do you find the hand tie wigs warmer then the the ones with wefts?...I only have one hand tie, Julianne by JR, I find her really warm, Caliente is a beautiful wig but I love the rooted ones, I need that dark root because I am a brunette and have darker brows but Caliente is on my list to buy, I am waiting for a Beach Mono from EW, love the fibers and it will be my second blonde wig, Pearl Blonde Rooted, I hope I like her so I can move on to a Caliente, I just would like to know if you find them warmer or is it just me, thanks for showing her to us.
I always think the wefted caps are cooler compared to handtied, but both are just plain HOT in warm weather..lol! I find the wefted caps with low permatease is my best bet for warm weather XOXO
I got Caliente with wefts in butter beer blonde and found the cap just it without tightening the straps and they were at the farthest they could go and I am 21 inch too!
I am bummed the hand tied is sooo dense. Any idea why they do this?? You would think they would do less because of the hand tied being more work but also does not need extra hair to hide the wefts etc. BTW, love your channel and you. I began following you more when I heard your son has MS. Thanks for sharing. I lost my mom at 59yo to MS. She died right before they came out with all the new meds. Hope he is doing well.

I think it has more to do with where its made, when its made, etc.. many wig makers have had to use multiple factories due to labor and supply shortages.
