JK number5 That’s one of her many genres. She still makes popular music, therefore called pop. On that umbrella there can be r&b, alternative, ballads, and such.
R&B is not under pop. I have Britney Spears Toxic album. That's 100% Pop music{so is Taylor Swift music}. Alternative R&B is what some might call Twigs Banks Haim or even Lady Gaga{last 2 albums} & Miley Cyrus Bangerz album. I'm bias just like the pop crowd. If I love a album, I'll call it R&B music. Just look at my music playlist

I think we really need to give props to how much BANKS has grown vocally as an artist. I love that she decided to do one of her older songs and switch it up. I feel like she's grown a lot in terms of technique, and in the risks that she takes, especially with her runs. I would love to see her do some more of her older tracks to see how they would sound now. Or just anything really. She's amazing.
Also that slip in the lyrics and her expression at 2:08 is adorable.
