Tbh I PERSONALLY seen more people have unwanted/teen pregnancies that DON’T have this relationship with their parents. And I think it’s because their parents aren’t understanding enough to realize that many teenagers are going to start having sex. Hormones are RAGING at this age and sex is really not a bad thing. They try hiding it or being super strict leaving their kids uneducated about the outcomes of having sex. I always cringed when my mom tried to talk to me or get me to open up about my sexual life but now I really thank god for her open-mindedness. I am the ONLY girl amongst my friend group who has not gotten pregnant in high school. Two of my friends decided to terminate the pregnancy and the other one kept her baby and had her on the 23rd of December. They all had pretty strict and not as opened parents and tbh I believe that’s the reason why. My mom made sure I was on the pill when I was sexually active and gave me a book on STDs Lmaoo 💀😂
