I am Mexican and I have always been fond of African music. However now that I got my ancestry/DNA results back and I got Mali, Cote de Ivoire, and Ghana as being part of me. I am so shook and happy. I may not look African but I am happy its part of my DNA. ❤ Love from Mexico~
This song was a hit here in Kenya. It was played everywhere. It speaks for so many women who are suffering silently at the jaws of abusive and toxic men.

I'm hurt that she's passed on at such a tender age and with a promising career ahead of her. Really surprised me that she was so young because I couldn't have guessed it based on the topics she sung about. Also didn't know she was so controversial in Ghana because of the way she dressed and carried herself. What's happened is a tragedy but the main comfort is that she lived life to the fullest and made really good music (which touched us - this is something that most people dream about but never achieve). I hope wherever she is, she is happy and content. And whatever mistakes she's made, I pray that God Almighty will forgive her. And for the rest of us who have to carry on living, remember to embrace life, cherish every second you have left, pursue your dreams and love your neighbour.

Bro, so people are basically hating on this song because it speaks out against the authority most African men think have over their female counterparts...you all need to grow up for this is the modern world and we those things are not right and needed. The way she dresses is her own right and choice, whether she chooses to go nude or not is also based on her preferences. This lady has a lot of talent and took a bold stance by making this type of music. Keep making your music and ignore the haters. Love from Ghanaians in U.S.!

Ebony is gone buh she left her song 4 us to remember her😭av lost my MOM nd dis always mk me sad bcs she was EBONY #1 fan especially dis song #Maame hwe 😭😭😭May u both find rest in perfect peace ☮️ 😭😭🙏🏼🙏🏼
One of the themes of this song is ''Not all that glitters is gold''. It warns girls against falling in love with men who appear to be rich and caring but would actually later abuse them in marriage. Also, Look before you leap.

Long live Ebony🕊️ she was really doing numbers.
One of the themes of this song is ''Not all that glitters is gold''. It warns girls against falling in love with men who appear to be rich and caring but would actually later abuse them in marriage. Also, Look before you leap.
Still here in 2020 ❤️❤️❤️ My heart bleeds that she’s gone so soon😭😭🕊🕊
😭😭😢😢
Hi
I have played this song more than 50 times this morning. Such a talent that was lost in her prime
This is your breakthrough song, Ebony. This song will take you to places and bring you honours. Much love!
Painfully, she didn't live to see this happen 🥲🥲🥲

Ebony, I see you beyond your God given talent. I see you for the number one gift that God has given us which is LOVE. You sing and dance to the people with love. Art is a form of expression and you did a hell of a good job demonstrating you wearing your heart on your sleeves baby girl. And for that the world will in turn always remember you in their hearts. Rest in love beautiful angel. 💗😘

The music was carrying a clear message for the youth in the future. I've been haven goosebumps all over my body . The beat alone is so unique. Wow. Even a gospel musician wouldn't have come with this such a deep message for the youth. God continue to place u in his bosom. And rest in perfect place till we meet again 😢😢😢
