The french are doing research on our ancient temples structures and how they are built and they are using our old ancestors knowledge and patent it. But we are ignoring our ancient wisdom and giving it to foreign country research companies. This temple will help to improve and revive india.

Floral designs, lotus motifs, Shankh (conch shell), birds and animals (especially peacocks and elephants); and 16 statues of celestial beings (Gandharvas), Vedic sages, and Hindu deities, on each pillar. Same goes for the walls. The walls on the lower platform are going to have reliefs of chapters from Ramayana, similar to what you see in temples in the south and in Angkor Wat.

There will be no need of colored tiles and stuff. Those square blank spaces left on the pillars are for that. They didn't carve the sculptures before installing the pillars because they would get damaged during transportation and installation. And the bronze murals are going to be on the inner side of the outer boundary wall (Parkota). The sculptures of Ramayana will be on the walls of the platform of the main structure. The temple trust said that, the platform's wall will show glimpses of Lord Rama's various important events in Ramayana using 5-7 foot tall statues. It will probably be like the almost life-size elephant statues with the events from Jataka Tales you see on the platform of Delhi's Akshardham temple.

Why did these fools stuff cement between the granite blocks in the plinth? Who told these corporate engineers trained in modern, western engineering to act over-smart, when they were specifically told by the architects and traditional temple masons to not use any cement in the plinth? Throughout ancient India and in all ancient civilizations like Egypt, Inca, Mayan, even Japan, stone blocks were never joined with cement/mortar, especially in the foundation/plinth. They were precisely cut to fit on top of each other without any gap between them to allow even a human hair in. That's how they were able to keep them stable for thousands of years. Cement deteriorates, warps and crumbles over time, thereby destabilizing the entire structure.

Temple architecture has rules based on Shilpa Shastra and Agamashastra. Every structure, every room, every pillar, statue and carving has a symbolic meaning and spiritual purpose. They aren't designed just for looks. This isn't some modernist western building where they keep comping up with weird designs just for the sake of it.
