A little raspier but unmistakably Steven Tyler. Hey what do you want after 50+ years, and a lot of excesses. Quite frankly, Mr. Tyler is very lucky to be alive, and I for one, am glad he is.
Crazy how this man can still hit those ranges at over 70 years old, and this song is almost 50-year-old As far as it being released, written even longer ago, amazing reaction of a legend
I am addicted to Steven. I have seen him more times than I can count over the years. This was awesome. By the way, Dream On was my senior class song way back in 1976.
2Cellos are an amazing act. Their version of Smooth Criminal, Welcome to the Jungle, or AC/DC Thunderstruck are good places to start. I think they get watered down a bit when they do these types of collaborations myself.
Yes!! When Steven Tyler comes literally swooping in playing (flying on) a grand piano. I thought I was going to wet my panties I was so shocked and amazed to see that ❤
He never fails to impress. I've heard a few renditions of Dream On, and this one was just beautiful. To quote the Abridged version of Prince (or rather KING) Vegeta: never before have I needed something so much, and not known until I received it.
Blows my mind and how many older songs from very famous people who are still here or have passed on that many people do not know about and the hit songs that have been on the radio for decades they have never heard and I'm talking just about the people in United States not hearing these bands or these songs. This song for example has been played, in the United States, probably a couple hundred times a day for decades.
for something different, there is also the version he did with Carrie Underwood at the American Country Music Awards, several years ago and yes, Carrie does Rock It!
Nice Both my husband and I were in our late teens in the 70's. I graduated high school in 77. Great decade for music 🤣🎶🎵. I asked him how some of these guys are still alive after all the "excesses," he said Cara they're pickled just plain 🥒 pickled.
The song he walked in to was Con Te Partiro, Time to Say Goodbye in English. Conte partiro is a beautiful song sung by Andre Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. I am not a huge fan of Sarah Brightman and can only take her in relatively small doses however there are songs she has sung that are absolutely beautiful. I am a huge fan of Andrea Bocelli.
Thank you so much for this video. Steven Tyler is the voice in my head. I haven’t heard this version. I just consider Steven Tyler as my fairy godmother! Love your shows! 💋
Dream on, one of my favourites songs but that was painful to listen to and I couldn’t finish it. I was hoping for a beautiful rendition of it what with the orchestra, two cellos and the choir. At least Steven had a memorial time.
If you heard Walk this Way as an instrumental by 2 Cellos's you'd probably enjoy iy more. Theyr'e more of an instrumental group. Check out some more of their works. Another cool cover band is Steven Seagulls
Steve's cracking voice definitely added something to the vocal from when he was a, relative, youngster. Not sure about the rest, but that may be down to the recording.
Peace, Love!! My Great-Grandfather was a string instrumentalist (Cellist specifically)! Wish I could have experienced that first-hand! Peace, Love some more!
Damn. I wish you had listened to the MTV 10 version of Dream On with Michael Kamen's orchestra in the background. It's the definitive live version. But this was fun.
Walk this Way, made the crossover with RunDMC and was the best! I actually prefer that version over the original, Dream On is just an iconic song that stands the test of times. I have 4 generations of family that know this song.
I’ll never be able to thank my dad enough for turning me and my sister on to Aerosmith at a young age, it made the “every other weekend” divorced kid visits so much more fun. I remember my first concert was Aerosmith at Jones beach, me 10 years old, my sister 5 and my dads only rule “don’t leave my side and don’t take anything if anyone passes it…” dudes are past retirement age and still rock hard as hell. But you could see Tyler’s habitual lean to Joe’s side outta habit but alas no Joe 😕… I’ve never seen another band persevere thru more as long and get even better thru the decades.
"Walk this way" performance would've been better if 2Cellos used their electric cellos instead of classic cellos. it would give it more oompf , this way a bit too tame
Man. He's still an amazing singer. But you're starting to hear that scratch to his singing from age. He's starting to hit that point where the voice starts to struggle to produce the same power it did. And with the power he had while he was younger, I'm fairly certain that's why he still has as much as he has behind it. It inevitably catches up to everyone, and you can definitely hear it in his singing here. That said, he's still fantastic, and he still has enough power in his voice to carry the songs along well enough. Even with the catches you can feel in his voice. Walk This Way felt strange to me though. I wouldn't say it was BAD or anything, but it certainly felt very different than the original versions of the song. I would probably say I like the original version of it more than this, but this wouldn't put me off if I heard it in place of the original.
"I am ready for all of this, guys". I know I shouldn't, but here goes! "That's what she said"!😂🤣
If you liked that, check out this live Aloe Blacc performance in front of strings. I Need a Dollar. ruclips.net/video/_Zx-QNIGZ8Y/видео.html

Yes, all the 2Cellos!
This is just wonderful and a Classic of music collaboration..
One of my favorites, Steven Tyler is a legend
Thanks!
Ok, who...besides me, sang right along with him? LOVE, both of these songs!!
2Cellos are an amazing act. Their version of Smooth Criminal, Welcome to the Jungle, or AC/DC Thunderstruck are good places to start. I think they get watered down a bit when they do these types of collaborations myself.
If you have not checked it out you should hear the dream on version from MTV 10 anniversary with a full orchestra it's amazing
Yes!! When Steven Tyler comes literally swooping in playing (flying on) a grand piano. I thought I was going to wet my panties I was so shocked and amazed to see that ❤
@@marywalquist210 I've seen it properly twenty times and I get goosebumps every time
Purely magical on "Walk this Way"!
Hes 73 yrs old...love this man

2Cellos are the bomb-love those guys💖 Thank you for reacting to this.
Listening to Steven Tyler never gets old...absolute rock superstar...
This gave me chills!!
Talent,no denying it. ❤️🎼❤️
Great Video !!!!!! Please more Aerosmith. So many great songs for reactions.
Ragdoll
Love in an elevator
Big 10inch record
Amazing
What an amazing collaboration! 🎶
2 cellos are fantastic.
Always will be the greatest of all time to me.
It still amazes me that Mr. Tyler wrote this at 17.
He never fails to impress. I've heard a few renditions of Dream On, and this one was just beautiful.
To quote the Abridged version of Prince (or rather KING) Vegeta: never before have I needed something so much, and not known until I received it.
The sweet part of this is he is like 69 here and still singing and playing piano beautifully.
I saw them in concert a few times and Steven sounds exactly like the recordings his voice is amazing!
Amazing. Thanks for sharing
Heard both these songs thousands of times but this gave me goosebumps. I listen to 2 cellos often but I have never heard this.
Musical Genius.
*Goosebumps when the choir joined the piano in the Dream On into*
This band will forever transcend time.
All jokes aside, this is really a very nice rendition.
Misery- Steven Tyler and Pink! Its amazing
Having seen Aerosmith live twice all I can say is Steve Tyler still rocks and this performance only proves that.
These guys are awesome
Great job Steven!
Those 2Cellos guys do a great cover of AC/DC's Thunderstruck all by themselves. You'll enjoy the visuals too, I bet.

I've never heard of this man but I love his voice.
Lol, you’re either over 100 or under 15?
@@SweetColo I'm 67 so not far from 100!
Just Steven and the cellos would have been perfect too.
Love 2cellos
OH MY FUCKING GOD 🔥🔥🔥
Man how does keep doing that, those falsesettos & the 2Cellos with the choir nice touch especially for a Colosseum
Dream On is one of those songs that makes me cry every time I hear it. Another one that gets me every time is Home Sweet Home by Motley Crue.
for something different, there is also the version he did with Carrie Underwood at the American Country Music Awards, several years ago and yes, Carrie does Rock It!
Steven Tyler did screamo before anyone lol loved this!
There was one very obvious soprano in that choir that was VERY sharp.
Have you seen the version of "Walk This Way" with Run DMC? That's the verson that ran on MTV every hour back in the day.
Brother, I also didn't know I needed this
Nice

Arena, Pula, Croatia, the only ancient Roman amphitheater still in operation. Concerts, movie shows, even hockey games.
Epic

Steven Tyler was 68 when he sang at the Coliseum. 44 years after the song was first released.
Dream on, one of my favourites songs but that was painful to listen to and I couldn’t finish it. I was hoping for a beautiful rendition of it what with the orchestra, two cellos and the choir. At least Steven had a memorial time.
So much of Rock can easily lend itself to a classical arrangement . They were modern day Mozarts & Beethovens
If you heard Walk this Way as an instrumental by 2 Cellos's you'd probably enjoy iy more. Theyr'e more of an instrumental group. Check out some more of their works. Another cool cover band is Steven Seagulls
Agreed on the way Walk This Way felt. Stevens voice really matches perfectly with Joe Perry’s guitar. I recommend Fever by Aerosmith!
I specifically like this kinda content
Need to watch him preform Walk This Way with Run DMC
U should listen to some bluegrass, it's real good too. YOU'LL cry with some of it.
Steve's cracking voice definitely added something to the vocal from when he was a, relative, youngster. Not sure about the rest, but that may be down to the recording.
What it Takes by Aerosmith, official video is wild and is a great breakup song.
His vocal range is on full display in this song too
Check out 2cellos doing thunderstruck 😎
Peace, Love!! My Great-Grandfather was a string instrumentalist (Cellist specifically)! Wish I could have experienced that first-hand! Peace, Love some more!
You should listen to Misery .Steven Tyker & Pink
As soon as I heard the intro I automatically thought " it's the Catalina wine mixer."😂
He’s 74 and still performing. Wow
Not just performing but performing well, given the drugs he introduced to his body I'm surprised he made it out the 80s
I ❣️ !🤗🥰🤣😭🎶💃
He is singing for his Dad who passed in the the place he was born and raised, Great tribute to his Dad he was crying singing this!
Damn. I wish you had listened to the MTV 10 version of Dream On with Michael Kamen's orchestra in the background. It's the definitive live version. But this was fun.
Hey you found 2cellos phenomenal

I think steve had some throat trouble had an operation on it so cant quite get the high registers like he used to , but I still dug it man
Nice voice 💪✌❤
Lets remember Steven is 74 years old
I love the cellos. I don't care for the additional vocals.
I’ll never be able to thank my dad enough for turning me and my sister on to Aerosmith at a young age, it made the “every other weekend” divorced kid visits so much more fun. Wow of all the video's of yours I have watched this is the least you have talked during the video.
Look up 2cellos doing thunderstruck
I Love Steven Tyler Is So Strong And Driven Force And So Talented And Very Sexy And Very Confident Man At This Time Of Life ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Beautiful Legend
It’s the fkn Catalina wine mixer!
Watch 2 Cellos playing with Stevie Vai
I can't believe you haven't heard of my man. Where have u been?? In a bunker n somolia
"Walk this way" performance would've been better if 2Cellos used their electric cellos instead of classic cellos. it would give it more oompf , this way a bit too tame
And the choir sounds off at times.
This Dream On rendition gives me tears! I could tell it hit home with you too. Keep em coming!
You can tell he was doing just "little partying" lol damn he would have sang that wayyyyyyy better - dream on
You should checkout my favorite Steven Tyler song. He does it with Santana. It's called Just Feel Better.
If want want to hear a stunning version of DREAM ON check out the one by POST MODERN JUKEBOX.
You should try ‘Nothing Else Matters’ by Apoclyptica. It’s a Metallica song done entirely on cellos, and all acoustic. It’s gorgeous.
Such talent , even at over 70 years old
Check out VoicePlay's new release Dream On

Mr Boyd. Could you please react to Aerosmith, Crying official music video.
2Cellos is definitely a nice listen if you are looking for a more instrumental fix
Just want to say, I love that haunting, atmospheric intro music in your videos. Who is the composer of it and is it a full length song?
Please watch Steven Tyler and Chris Botti "SMILE". I think you'll like it!!!
