I get the references for some people as a song for someone who has passed away but for me it references two people whose love didn't work and they parted. felt that way back when it came out and I was going through a terrible time.
A guy named Rodney Crowell wrote & released this one in 1995 & got it to #69 on the billboard charts. Tim released it 4 years later & took it to #1. He has a ton of great music... pretty ones like this & fun ones as well. You two would like 'Southern voice' I think. It is a spunky southern rock tune, instead of this 'sappy stuff'. LOL It will show you another side of him. I enjoy you two.
When I knew that I had lost my wife (cheated) - I gave her this song. Broke my heart in 1000 places. I hope she's happy - this song and "I Hope You Dance" were the two I left with her.
I'd love to see y'all react to "born to be blue' by the Mavericks & "only lonely" by JD Souther. Sounds kinda like i'm depressed lol they're beautiful songs & unique voices. Raul Malo of the Mavericks voice reminds me of Roy Orbison. In his rendition of "in dreams" you can hardly tell the difference. I love the scene in "blue velvet" when Dean Stockwell pantomines "in dreams". Strange movie but i love it.
*I would recommend the track "Let Me Love You" from Tim McGraw's album "Set This Circus Down" and the track "Highway Don't Care" (feat. Taylor Swift, with Keith Urban on LeadGuitar) from the album "Two Lanes Of Freedom".* 🎵🎸🎵🔥🔥🔥🎵
Would you please react to Sonata Arcticas song Tallulah. I would be very grateful. Sonata Arctica has been together since year 96 and they are playing around the world.
This song makes me angry cause it sounds like a guy breaking up with a woman and telling her what HE thinks is best for her but then at the same time he wants her to remember him at the same time. Arrogant, narcissist to me. It's just triggering to me because I had someone I was in a relationship with for nearly ten years do that to me, try to tell me how I felt and how I should feel and what he thought was best for me as though i was a child. It was his excuse but in reality he just wanted out of the relationship to get with his highschool crush who was finally willing to give him the chance she never gave him in school after her marriage fell apart and they reconnected over Facebook

That’s how I’ve always interpreted the song as well. Nice take!
Back when country music was still good. ❤ I remember seeing this video on CMT as a kid. I've always thought it was a beautifully haunting song.
Anything from Tim McGraw will do me just fine! I have loved listening to Tim since the 90's.

Y’all are really missing out on Tim and Faith’s music and videos! Faith’s vocals in the background bring the chorus to a different emotion.
