@MMBee Tee It's my understanding that Paul wrote that letter to address the problems at the church in Corinth, specifically. Like he wrote to the Thessalonians "if man won't work, man don't eat” because the people there stopped working to wait for Jesus' return. He didn't mean old, disabled, or sick men shouldn't be fed. Taking random scriptures literally without context seems like it would lead to misunderstanding the Bible. Similar was done to justify slavery.

The Bible says that in the last days, God will pour his spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. These are the last days, ACTS 2:17. JOEL 2:28.

My sister said this to me before she passed away from gastrointestinal cancer at 36yrs old. I was 34 then. I'm 37 going on 38 April 4th. I know now what she meant. I finally ran into this. You know the Righteous Run into the Blessings. Mighty Word Woman of GOD.
