Throughout the past two weeks, we have encountered the most compassionate and wonderful people on our journey. The road conditions may not be the best suited for cycling but our vision is clear. It is with great enthusiasm we look forward to the rest of the journey that awaits us!

You should try it in Manado North Sulawesi! Especially try downhill from mount mahawu down slide to Manado more fun there mate!
Awesome man... You should try cycling the south route of java (Pantai Selatan Jawa), from Jakarta to Bali. The views are much more amazing (the forest, hills, and beach) and the traffic is much better.

The roads you took are so crowded with heavy traffic. Perhaps, taking alternate routes through villages would be better choise. If you allow, there are (most likely) many bicyclists from local area that are willing to accompany you and become your guide to choose the better route with less traffic. Btw, what you are doing is amazing. I am native Indonesian, but I would rather take airplane to travel to Bali, no guts to ride bicycle that far.
