This is one of the smarter color guard design concepts. It has a clear progression. Clear arc. Clear character development. Overt use of color. Reliance on a well-known existing literary work to help support audience involvement. Great use of space and defining the "where."
This show hits my heart in a special place. This show is what inspired my last season marching show. It had the same title as this wgi show, and though it wasn't as clear cut nor a direct copy, it was still very beautiful. Just like this show.

Can anybody help me, there was this wgi group that came to one of our competitions last year (2013) and they had this metal ball thing...one of the guys did an 8 or something on a sabre. Anybody know what that was? (They were from OH if that helps)
This is a great show, there is a major design flaw in the beginning! She never tells the tin man that she will miss him most of all. She says that the scarecrow!
