And now he's the world heavyweight champion. Another ROH legend has made it to the top of the big company up north. That's what's up
but it sucks. I was raised on original ecw and it was amazing how Paul could keep us entertained as vince and ted continued to raid his talent. these guys all go to Connecticut for the money, and honestly who can blame them. But there has to be, there just has to be a better feeling as a wrestler to wrestle in a small hall like the one ROH have and have everybody be engaged beyond, as compared to being a sports entertainer in front of 5 year olds who are only there to see John Cena every night. the only reason I began watching WWE again was because I heard of all the ROH guys that were showing up. Once Kevin Owens showed up I tuned in. He carried Vinces greatest asset, John Cena, through some of John's greatest matches. That's right this in Indy talent carried the greatest sports entertainer through a series of matches. But having Kevin prove he would go over by tapping out was the beginning of the demise of his character. They ruined or dropped the ball, whichever you prefer, way too early with him. And he, along with a lot of these guys, are too talented to be wasting around the mid cards of the sports entertainment world. It's too bad there's no money in ROH.

@kronz21 cont'd: Especially considering that the WWE will be losing a lot of main eventers within the next two years like HHH, Undertaker, Kane and maybe even Edge. Tyler Black is perfect for the main event in every way and frankly the WWE needs a guy like him so i hope they don't mess it up and have him be overshadowed by the other guys. If anything, Tyler Black can fill the void that HHH will be leaving, and Randy Orton and Tyler Black can be the two top faces of the company with Cena heel.
I hate when people try to say that in the WWE, Tyler Black will job. I strongly disagree b/c if they needed a jobber they have a shitload in dev. that they can use. They obviously see that Tyler Black's talent is unmatchable and frankly all he has to do is step in the ring and perform to his full abilities and he will be instantly over. Just by looking at him you can see he has something special and is one of those rare ones and I think the WWE Universe won't take too long to see that.

The only way an "anti-hero" Tyler Black would play second fiddle to Randy Orton in the "anti-hero" category is if Orton was Stone Cold over which he will probably never be. I think that fact gives Tyler Black at least a little shot (which WWE should consider). Sure, he might not start at the top but I know he will rise to the top, VERY FAST.

Besides pointing out that ECW World Champion Mike Awesome showed up on WCW Nitro Back in April of 2000, this isn't the 1st time a ROH World Champion was threatening to go to the WWE with the belt. CM Punk did it back in 2005 after beating Austin Aries.
